Thank you so much for this video! While I was watching I was in the process of eating a sandwich. Your advice made me realize something about eating, and where this surf advice could help me in real life. I became aware of my biting motion, so much so in fact that I could 100% accurately determine, or well I should say, I became actively aware of when my teeth were touching the air around the sandwich in a biting motion and when they were actually touching the sandwich. The advantage of this is, that now I could focus all of my jaw muscles on using more force when my teeth were in contact with the sandwich and less when not. Following this advice I can now optimize my eating motions more efficiently, thusly burn less calories while eating which will ultimately result in a minimal increase of me becoming fatter. As with all proper surfers, I strive to not only minmax to 100% of my potential in surf, but also in my other worldly endeavors! I am going to gladly recommend this video to my peers.
Aiming with your player model is like telling someone they're automatically breathing and then they start breathing manually. I never aim with my player model. I aim with my vision :^)
I just started surfing again, and switched to source (from GO last time i was surfing) and this is the biggest issue I've had. Source has smaller player models correct? I think this is why its been difficult for me to hit the ramps right. Never really had an issue with it except for when I was first learning in GO.
