As a tip, stand still to gain RP. This can be used mid conversation without time passing. Pair this with a companion monster + townie npc in your party to get infinite RP in dungeons by just talking to them and doing nothing until your rp bar fills. This is technically an exploit but hey, it's a single player game. Enjoy it until it gets patched at least lol
I spent a long time extremally confused about this feature. Id drain all my rp for the day, then suddenly I glance up and its half way full again. I thought it was some sorta bug but I figured it out eventually from some in game dialogue lol
Well. Time is passing, real time and it's a big waste of time, just get some items to restore rp or just port to the bath and then port back, much more effective and not such a big waste of real time
Here's a tip, if you have a crop ready to harvest use the scicle on it to get its lvl2 seed than plant and harvest that lvl2 seed and ship it, now the general store will sell those seeds at lvl 2
you actually dont even need to plant that seed if you ship the seed it will upgrade that crop in the shop. Or that is what it says on the in game help messages during loading.
@@FredyKimato eh, it’s better to stock up on all those two things instead of selling them. Some of the later building upgrades take thousands and thousands of each.
@@blackskull7777 can confirm it's not patched on Steam, you need to go from SEED area to Earth Dragon then back to SEED area you can farm quite a bit between the two, going inside a building and back out doesn't reset the rocks at SEED area
Friend level tips- level 3 friendship lets you select that person to join in battle. Level 5, rare bday gifts get! 7, go on dates. And level 10, marriage 😍 dam this needs a physical walkthrough book 😂
It's not just the 1st 5 baths that are free: with the Beginner's crest equipped *all* baths are free. This works only until you get a new SEED crest or you get to about level 20, whichever comes first. Then you'll use up your 5 free baths and from there it's 500G for each bath Also, you do not faint if you don't go to bed in this game, you just become fatigued and obviously you don't regain any hp/rp. You can go to bed as late as you want, but do note thst your sleep skill will level up only if you go to bed before 1am

Legend!! Another tip is when you go to palmo, youl unlock a food crafting shelf. Pick it up and get it home. Then farm turnips. In craft machine, add 2 turnips for a easy gift for ppl 😁 easy way to get ur social up to be best friends/ lovers😍

Excellent video. My tip: don’t rush and buy all equipment. They will give them to you. I played RFF before and I was used to unlocking equipment that can’t be bought in other way. The hammer, the harvester, the pole, etc. In this game, I saw that most of the farm equipment was available at the store and I bought a hammer, a pole and an axe, only to have other ones given to me for free when accepting some tasks. So don’t rush

Here's a good tip! So in the game if you make homemade dishes (possible accessories too haven't tested) and give them to villagers about 5 times they will gift you items. So make a bunch of pickled turnips, save your game, go to Terry, and start gifting him the turnips. You can gift more than one item a day btw, so essentially keep gifting him the turnips and he's going to give you accessories. It's kind of RNG but you can get some good stuff, most notably the heart pendant which DOUBLES skill experience. And you can do this at the beginning of the game, which will help a lot. If you don't get the heart pendant just load the game again and restart the process. There's other good accessories he'll hand out too. You can do this with other characters too! Darroch gives you weapons, Martin gives you ores (he's given me platinum!), and tbh I haven't really tested out all the characters those are the most notable. Beware though that some people don't like pickled turnips like I think Cecil and Heinz? So in that case make a different homemade thing and you'll be set! Edit: Everyone likes the turnips except for Fuuka! Have fun!
Wow, some great tips. I started the game yesterday and have never played RF so there were some awesome tips. The furniture delivery problem was frustrating, so thank you. The other tips I loved are the locking on and throwing farming, the checking to see the 'level' of the monster (amazing, that will be very useful), and the walking in the corner. Awesome tips, thank you so much.
Heres a tip~some yall might need. You need to cut down crops with a Sickle in order to level them up. If your new to rf, this is going to be something a lot of players will avoid because they dont want to destroy crops.
Another good tipp is let Elsje join your team and if you get low health she throughs food to you - if you dodge it you can pick it up and sell it. It's really good in game to farm G, since she can through special food which gives 500.000 G.
One more tip I would like to add. If you happen to find two weaker monster gates close to one another, drag the monsters together and allow them to 0HP your defense skill up. The very same thing as the walking skill shown, which btw, thank you for letting me know this tip.

Seriously the auto pickup and picking up items/stacking feels sooo slow and clunky compared to RF4 💀 I love RF5 but it feels like a step down in some ways
There where some good Tips but so much information is missing. 4. stone and wood: You have infinite amount of stone and wood as soon you get the farm dragon. Regularly a stone can be hit 9 times if you hit it 8 times and leave the dragon (or enter the monster barn) the stone resets so you can hit it again 8 times. 5. As far as I remember no rf game shows by default the lvl of the monster. Since the rf4 you can make a special order after beating the game to show the lvl of monster. once you beat the game and start a new one it should be available from the start (if it works like rf4). But yes pretty good tip (: 6. Lvl walking skill Well, I'm not shure if it's really nessesery to lvl up this skill like that. Because you are always running around and lvl it passive. But please do as you like (: BUT please don't say go at 10pm /22o clock to bed.! It's such a waist! First thing. Normally you have time to 12pm and you still lvl up your sleeping skill. Second (version 1.0.01) you still lvl up your skill if you go to bed at 5.59am. After you stayed up until 6am you get a debuff that consumes your rp faster(everything needs double the amount) (and sorry I don't know the English word for the debuff) and a chance to catch a cold. Hope this helpes you to enjoy rune factory 5 even more ♥️
you can stay up all the way until 5 am, you can utilise the night hours with no hassle, apparently our character literally only needs 1 hour of sleep because if you sleep at 5am you still get up at 6 am

Everytime you give 5 HOMEMADE items to a character, they will give you a gift. The only exception is Murakumo where everytime you give him a homemade item, he will return claw type items. The rarity of the item or the complexity of the dish that they gift you will depend on your friendship points. The higher it is the better gifts you receive. So if you're in need of money, just make tons of short swords or round shields and gift it to him in return for claw type gifts which then you can sell for a higher price.

Another Tipp. Dont go to bed if you have RP. Do something like crafting things and then make every item to lvl10 with crap items like stones or sticks or crap metal etc. So you can increase you smithing and crafting skill for armour as well. Or you can use magic skills like healing even if you have full HP. So dont go to bed until your RP is 0
One other Tipp. If Monsters makes 0 damage to you then you can let Attacke you and go eating or something like this similar with your go against a Wall tipp^^ then you increase your defense skill
Guys i u can upgrade one of your equipment and use the Magnifying Glass for upgrade. after you do that your equipment will have the ability to see the crops stat without pulling up the Magnifying glass.
another tip for later, be careful of the frogs, when they do their spin attack with their leaf, it's a one shot, even if the deal you Zero damage with with any other attack.
@@nekoglenn9272 it happened to me early level so iwas thinking '' oh yeah, this attack hit hard, okay be careful from now on'' but then i was doing one of the last two wanted monster, the elementalist i think or a wizard like that, and all the little monster were just annoying with their attack making me flinch but they were doing 0 damage. and then this little frog just come around and slap my ass so hard i got sent flying right to the clinic 🤣
Ive poured hundereds of hours into this game, and I didn't know you could hold A to collect items of the same type lol. Quest tip though: If a quest says that you must HARVEST a specific amount of crop, it doesn't count what you have already harvested. The collection has to be done after you grab the quest. Learned this the hard way with the fruit trees. Once you reach lvl 90+ in recipe based skills, you'll only get more recipes from bread+, which is only obtainable via Rigbarth Maze post game as a boss drop. You might be able to craft them yourself, but the RP required is usually 6000+
from what I’ve heard, you don’t faint you’re just fatigued and more likely to get sick you can also go to bed at anytime, even the last 30 minutes before wake up, you wake up at the time and fully rested.
True, I once went to bed at 5:30am cause I wanted to be done with the dungeon so I'd get a story event the next day and I woke up at 6am like usual with full hp/rp. I also saved before bed and, out of curiosity, stayed up until 6am. Didn't faint, just instantly became fatigued. But then I got a cutscene of the npc ranger coming to my help and curing me of my fatigue lol. Your sleeping skill just won't level up if you go to bed after 1am.

Tip I wish I knew: read item descriptions because for a while I was picking up sticks and selling them but hit them with your axe and they change into wood for you and it tells you in the description 😂 Also for items on the floor charge your capture ability and shoot it at items at a distance to pick them up
you don't faint... you get fatigue after missing one night, sick after two nights, and that's the extent of it. You CAN do it forever till it's max level if you want. But you'll be missing out on the sleep and eat levels you get from doing those things once a day.
to move the Wardrobe supper close to the wall yo can hold the r button and it will let u move very slowly, as for the inventory thing on the bottom screen i will be making a video explaining on how to use and understand it later on today!
My only real question is whether or not your level actual matters. Because with Rune Factory 3 and 4 at least, level just meant HP and RP after a while and your other stats come almost entirely from your weapon and armor.
It is like what you said. It only matters for HP and RP. What important is. that level up your chemistry and forging As soon as possible to make formuade lv10 and farming tool
Here another Tipp. If you want to increase your skills easily then you should buy as many turnip seeds in the Shop for 10G as you can. And These can be used with simple beginner hoes. So the crafting Material can be bought and iron will be find in mass everywhere so have fun^^ the rest is then only a click adventure within the crafting stations^^
I've been just standing around and letting weak enemies hit me to lvl defense, been working out pretty good lol they do zero damage but I get like 3% per hit atm at lvl19 rn
The starting wardrobe blocking the storage area is the most stupid design I've ever seen in a game. I've been sending stuff to the dragon forever because I had no idea what was blocking my storage or even where the storage was supposed to be.
Also there's another thing.I found if you attack the cows Al's.What you need to do is catch them.Would you little seal or is every now and then you'll still milk from them?Then kill them cause every now and then.They also drop milk.Do that over and over and over and just run back-and-forth.They'll respond and you can make a good chunk of money early in the game real easy

What happens if you just decide to sleep for lets say 4 years in the beginning to increase your sleeping skills like you can in RF4. Is there chemical X too to spam drink before you sleep to up all your resistances?
For the first tip, i have the issue of having my pockets full. Any idea where i can look to empty it out? I have the pedestals in my farm, house and quest board empty.
you should be able to put ur things in the chest they give you the the beginning of the game, you can also buy more at the furniture shop in town (top right of town). also you can upgrade the chest storage by going downstairs of where you live and talking to the little statue on the table.
For ore/lumber I just go to the farm on the dragons back, there's a lot and it uses up nearly all my rp to gather it all I only hit them 8 times though then walk into the barn or teleport to the inn and go back and i can hit them another 8 times without them breaking Also haven't tried it yet but if you make bread and turn it into toast it restores 800rp, inn guy is never there for me so I'm gonna do that instead when i get the recipe
Unlimited rock x wood / farming bosses 1.0 hit the (no x) stumps/grey rocks 8x then teleport to any of the dragons to reset them back to 9hp but don’t hit them until 9 or they’ll be fully destroyed. This way u’ll have unlimited wood x rock. This can also apply to stumps/rocks with lower hits to destroy 1.1 Just save ur ready to harvest crops to replenish ur rp. 2.0 hit the bosses ti’ll their hp is purple/red. DON’T KILL. Keep hitting with the seal skill until u get a drop. Then just teleport out or back to the same area to keep farming it. Be aware the seal skill requires rp so bring food or have harvestable crops ready.
More specifically, when the boss monster uses a move that causes the padlock icon to disappear from the targeting reticle, that's your cue to start throwing your spell seal.
Yup, u can hold the L button to move really slow in a straight line and side to side also pressing the left trigger I believe will also rotate the item

Some of this I already knew since I did play RF 4. The walking thing however is nice to know, I do have a seperate question and hope someone can answer. I'm trying to figure out how to do a "Dash Attack" the game says to Dash by pressing L and then attack I do so, but my character is not attacking when he Dashes. He does when he does a Perfect dash but almost always attacks in the wrong direction.

Do you have any good tips for finding wanted monsters? I think I found the type of monster that’s wanted by SEED but it kills me in one hit, and it’s my first wanted monster I’m supposed to catch. I’m level 9 and I my first wanted monster is red :(
hmmm seems you might have to level up a bit, try to get to lvl 12-13 since thats around when i got my quest, remember as long as the name is orange or white you should be fine :)
Use the medicine table to craft Object X (failures). They have poison effect which is better than failed dishes. Throw it at the wanted monster and start to 'catch it' by long pressing ZR once its heart goes lower.
You can use skill Windslash(sword) and Storm(Dualblades) to bypass the rock that has not been unlock yet. Like the dungeon Thundering Waves. Then you can retrieve Platinum early in game. it's possible to use it to go to girl bathroom and enjoy the view or just use it to Fly around the Sky
Yet another "tips and tricks" that shows how few people actually read the tutorials and in game tips on the loading screens or from the signs... First tip is the most annoying to hear everywhere because THE GAME TELLS YOU THIS IN THE TUTORIAL. Priscilla asks you to clear the farm, then afterwards says "if you hold A, you can easily pick up all of the same items" or something along those lines. She also says that you can lock onto your shipping bin and such to throw items into it. As for locking onto things (which some comments ask about), it says in the opening fight tutorial in the first 30 seconds. Press the R stick to lock onto an enemy, then move the R stick to change targets. This fight also opens up explaining the L Pocket, the menu at the bottom, which other comments ask about. This is literally what you do when you first gain control... Next, for the wardrobe and furniture. This, I agree, is confusing and stupid. But there's also missing info here. You can purchase furniture as long as ANY of those platforms are clear, except the one by the request board. There is one in your room, which is where the Wardrobe is right away. There is one on every Farm Dragon, the extra farming areas you unlock playing the story. But also there is one IN Studio Palmo. This one is where your furniture is placed when you say you will carry it home. And this is also filled up almost immediately. Why? Because the first time you talk to Palmo after his introduction scene, he says he will give you a free Cooking Table, and he does so, leaving it on that platform. And in case you never speak to him on your own after that intro or missed the dialog, a pretty early request tells you to talk to him to get that table, and you can see the table there. Just like the Wardrobe, you need to move the Cooking Table out of the way, then you can have Palmo or Ryker leave your furniture for you to carry home. Also, there's much better ways of getting plenty of Lumber and Material Stone. Just progress the story a little, get your first Farm Dragon, and plenty will spawn there, far more than your starting farm. And the stuff that spawns in any farming area will respawn frequently through the day, like every few hours a few new things will appear, even more overnight. Also, since it didn't seem known, the brownish stones, listed as Clay Stone when targeted, can be hit 3 times, and the gray ones, Boulders I believe they are called, can be hit 9 times. Typically its one Material Stone per hit, but when you get better hammers, there seems to be a chance to get more (I only have the next tier and sometimes get 2 drops per hit). Same goes for the stumps, with Rotten Stumps, which are the ones that look like they're rotting, taking 3 hits and the fresh looking ones, just called Stumps, taking 9 hits. And, of course, Rocks and Branches, which you can pick up, place down a stack, and hit once per item in the stack. As for the Blue Moon Inn, Murakumo actually gives infinite free baths until you reach a higher SEED rank or reach level 20. After that, its 5 free baths or 500 per bath, though I have heard that with that first crest, you can still get 1 free bath each day (haven't checked myself yet). You also regain RP just standing still, though it is slow. You don't faint or anything if you don't sleep. You just don't heal, and if you sleep too late (or not at all), you don't get Sleeping experience, another useful skill. Better than running in place, however, is to make use of the free baths and just bathe infinitely. Takes no in game time, gives you Bathing experience, gains you friendship with Murakumo (even more because you gain friendship with him as your Bathing skill increases). And running around is something you'll do a lot just playing the game, no need to cheese it like that.
While I was waiting for the game to download, I watched this video. He said that the tips he gives are not given in the game. That's not the case. Every tip he gives the game does as well. So he must've skipped over when the game asked if he wants to learn how to this or that. I didn't skip over that and was told the exact same thing he gives as tips in this video. the bath is open way too fucking late in the day to be useful. should be like 8 instead of 12
I'm already well past lvl 20 but curiosity is killing me here... could I have abused the free baths for capping out that bathing skill?

Darroch gives you weapons, Martin gives you ores (he's given me platinum!), and tbh I haven't really tested out all the characters those are the most notable. Beware though that some people don't like pickled turnips like I think Cecil and Heinz? So in that case make a different homemade thing and you'll be set!

Wow, some great tips. I started the game yesterday and have never played RF so there were some awesome tips. The furniture delivery problem was frustrating, so thank you. The other tips I loved are the locking on and throwing farming, the checking to see the 'level' of the monster (amazing, that will be very useful), and the walking in the corner. Awesome tips, thank you so much.
Heres a tip~some yall might need.
You need to cut down crops with a Sickle in order to level them up.
If your new to rf, this is going to be something a lot of players will avoid because they dont want to destroy crops.

You also have to keep in mind to use a higher quality sickle, in order to ensure or increase the chance of haveing a leveled up seed pack.
Dude the full furniture storage in your house was so so frustrating. I felt so dumb when I realized I needed to be picking up and moving my furniture

Another good tipp is let Elsje join your team and if you get low health she throughs food to you - if you dodge it you can pick it up and sell it. It's really good in game to farm G, since she can through special food which gives 500.000 G.
One more tip I would like to add. If you happen to find two weaker monster gates close to one another, drag the monsters together and allow them to 0HP your defense skill up.
The very same thing as the walking skill shown, which btw, thank you for letting me know this tip.

There where some good Tips but so much information is missing.
4. stone and wood:
You have infinite amount of stone and wood as soon you get the farm dragon.
Regularly a stone can be hit 9 times if you hit it 8 times and leave the dragon (or enter the monster barn) the stone resets so you can hit it again 8 times.
5. As far as I remember no rf game shows by default the lvl of the monster. Since the rf4 you can make a special order after beating the game to show the lvl of monster. once you beat the game and start a new one it should be available from the start (if it works like rf4).
But yes pretty good tip (:
6. Lvl walking skill
Well, I'm not shure if it's really nessesery to lvl up this skill like that. Because you are always running around and lvl it passive. But please do as you like (:
BUT please don't say go at 10pm /22o clock to bed.! It's such a waist! First thing. Normally you have time to 12pm and you still lvl up your sleeping skill. Second (version 1.0.01) you still lvl up your skill if you go to bed at 5.59am.
After you stayed up until 6am you get a debuff that consumes your rp faster(everything needs double the amount) (and sorry I don't know the English word for the debuff) and a chance to catch a cold.

Fatigue is the name of the debuff.
you can stay up all the way until 5 am, you can utilise the night hours with no hassle, apparently our character literally only needs 1 hour of sleep because if you sleep at 5am you still get up at 6 am

These are excellent tips, I'm so glad I watched your video & it took me long enough to realize there is so much I don't know about the game.
Everytime you give 5 HOMEMADE items to a character, they will give you a gift. The only exception is Murakumo where everytime you give him a homemade item, he will return claw type items.
The rarity of the item or the complexity of the dish that they gift you will depend on your friendship points. The higher it is the better gifts you receive.
So if you're in need of money, just make tons of short swords or round shields and gift it to him in return for claw type gifts which then you can sell for a higher price.

Another Tipp. Dont go to bed if you have RP. Do something like crafting things and then make every item to lvl10 with crap items like stones or sticks or crap metal etc. So you can increase you smithing and crafting skill for armour as well. Or you can use magic skills like healing even if you have full HP. So dont go to bed until your RP is 0
Drift-con is the hardest boss in this game. [joking]
Chipsqueaks and other monsters will drop wood as well.
One other Tipp. If Monsters makes 0 damage to you then you can let Attacke you and go eating or something like this similar with your go against a Wall tipp^^ then you increase your defense skill

Guys i u can upgrade one of your equipment and use the Magnifying Glass for upgrade. after you do that your equipment will have the ability to see the crops stat without pulling up the Magnifying glass.
Giving the monsters the mushrooms can sometimes poison them and you just have to run around them a bit as their life bar goes down
another tip for later, be careful of the frogs, when they do their spin attack with their leaf, it's a one shot, even if the deal you Zero damage with with any other attack.
Dude, this happened to me when I was way over-leveled for the area, and I was like, "HOW???" I call them the "F*ck around and find out" frogs, now. 😂
@@nekoglenn9272 it happened to me early level so iwas thinking '' oh yeah, this attack hit hard, okay be careful from now on'' but then i was doing one of the last two wanted monster, the elementalist i think or a wizard like that, and all the little monster were just annoying with their attack making me flinch but they were doing 0 damage. and then this little frog just come around and slap my ass so hard i got sent flying right to the clinic 🤣
Ive poured hundereds of hours into this game, and I didn't know you could hold A to collect items of the same type lol.
Quest tip though: If a quest says that you must HARVEST a specific amount of crop, it doesn't count what you have already harvested. The collection has to be done after you grab the quest. Learned this the hard way with the fruit trees.
Once you reach lvl 90+ in recipe based skills, you'll only get more recipes from bread+, which is only obtainable via Rigbarth Maze post game as a boss drop. You might be able to craft them yourself, but the RP required is usually 6000+

True, I once went to bed at 5:30am cause I wanted to be done with the dungeon so I'd get a story event the next day and I woke up at 6am like usual with full hp/rp. I also saved before bed and, out of curiosity, stayed up until 6am. Didn't faint, just instantly became fatigued. But then I got a cutscene of the npc ranger coming to my help and curing me of my fatigue lol. Your sleeping skill just won't level up if you go to bed after 1am.

Tip I wish I knew: read item descriptions because for a while I was picking up sticks and selling them but hit them with your axe and they change into wood for you and it tells you in the description 😂
Also for items on the floor charge your capture ability and shoot it at items at a distance to pick them up
you don't faint... you get fatigue after missing one night, sick after two nights, and that's the extent of it. You CAN do it forever till it's max level if you want. But you'll be missing out on the sleep and eat levels you get from doing those things once a day.
How’d you put the wardrobe so close to the wall and how did you get your inventory to pop up at the bottom of the screen?
to move the Wardrobe supper close to the wall yo can hold the r button and it will let u move very slowly, as for the inventory thing on the bottom screen i will be making a video explaining on how to use and understand it later on today!

My only real question is whether or not your level actual matters.
Because with Rune Factory 3 and 4 at least, level just meant HP and RP after a while and your other stats come almost entirely from your weapon and armor.

Here another Tipp. If you want to increase your skills easily then you should buy as many turnip seeds in the Shop for 10G as you can. And These can be used with simple beginner hoes. So the crafting Material can be bought and iron will be find in mass everywhere so have fun^^ the rest is then only a click adventure within the crafting stations^^

I've been just standing around and letting weak enemies hit me to lvl defense, been working out pretty good lol they do zero damage but I get like 3% per hit atm at lvl19 rn
The starting wardrobe blocking the storage area is the most stupid design I've ever seen in a game.
I've been sending stuff to the dragon forever because I had no idea what was blocking my storage or even where the storage was supposed to be.
Also there's another thing.I found if you attack the cows Al's.What you need to do is catch them.Would you little seal or is every now and then you'll still milk from them?Then kill them cause every now and then.They also drop milk.Do that over and over and over and just run back-and-forth.They'll respond and you can make a good chunk of money early in the game real easy

What happens if you just decide to sleep for lets say 4 years in the beginning to increase your sleeping skills like you can in RF4. Is there chemical X too to spam drink before you sleep to up all your resistances?

I have the pedestals in my farm, house and quest board empty.
you should be able to put ur things in the chest they give you the the beginning of the game, you can also buy more at the furniture shop in town (top right of town). also you can upgrade the chest storage by going downstairs of where you live and talking to the little statue on the table.

For ore/lumber I just go to the farm on the dragons back, there's a lot and it uses up nearly all my rp to gather it all
I only hit them 8 times though then walk into the barn or teleport to the inn and go back and i can hit them another 8 times without them breaking
Also haven't tried it yet but if you make bread and turn it into toast it restores 800rp, inn guy is never there for me so I'm gonna do that instead when i get the recipe
Unlimited rock x wood / farming bosses
1.0 hit the (no x) stumps/grey rocks 8x then teleport to any of the dragons to reset them back to 9hp but don’t hit them until 9 or they’ll be fully destroyed. This way u’ll have unlimited wood x rock. This can also apply to stumps/rocks with lower hits to destroy
1.1 Just save ur ready to harvest crops to replenish ur rp.
2.0 hit the bosses ti’ll their hp is purple/red. DON’T KILL. Keep hitting with the seal skill until u get a drop. Then just teleport out or back to the same area to keep farming it. Be aware the seal skill requires rp so bring food or have harvestable crops ready.
More specifically, when the boss monster uses a move that causes the padlock icon to disappear from the targeting reticle, that's your cue to start throwing your spell seal.

Yup, u can hold the L button to move really slow in a straight line and side to side also pressing the left trigger I believe will also rotate the item

Some of this I already knew since I did play RF 4. The walking thing however is nice to know, I do have a seperate question and hope someone can answer. I'm trying to figure out how to do a "Dash Attack" the game says to Dash by pressing L and then attack I do so, but my character is not attacking when he Dashes. He does when he does a Perfect dash but almost always attacks in the wrong direction.

Do you have any good tips for finding wanted monsters? I think I found the type of monster that’s wanted by SEED but it kills me in one hit, and it’s my first wanted monster I’m supposed to catch.

hmmm seems you might have to level up a bit, try to get to lvl 12-13 since thats around when i got my quest, remember as long as the name is orange or white you should be fine :)
I heard if you throw ‘failed dishes’ at wanted monsters it will lower their health
@@Dream1Eater that's all monsters, same trick worked in RF4 I beat a boss throwing those because I couldn't figure out what else to do XD
Use the medicine table to craft Object X (failures). They have poison effect which is better than failed dishes. Throw it at the wanted monster and start to 'catch it' by long pressing ZR once its heart goes lower.
You can use skill Windslash(sword) and Storm(Dualblades) to bypass the rock that has not been unlock yet. Like the dungeon Thundering Waves. Then you can retrieve Platinum early in game.
it's possible to use it to go to girl bathroom and enjoy the view or just use it to Fly around the Sky
Yet another "tips and tricks" that shows how few people actually read the tutorials and in game tips on the loading screens or from the signs...
First tip is the most annoying to hear everywhere because THE GAME TELLS YOU THIS IN THE TUTORIAL. Priscilla asks you to clear the farm, then afterwards says "if you hold A, you can easily pick up all of the same items" or something along those lines. She also says that you can lock onto your shipping bin and such to throw items into it.
As for locking onto things (which some comments ask about), it says in the opening fight tutorial in the first 30 seconds. Press the R stick to lock onto an enemy, then move the R stick to change targets. This fight also opens up explaining the L Pocket, the menu at the bottom, which other comments ask about. This is literally what you do when you first gain control...
Next, for the wardrobe and furniture. This, I agree, is confusing and stupid. But there's also missing info here. You can purchase furniture as long as ANY of those platforms are clear, except the one by the request board. There is one in your room, which is where the Wardrobe is right away. There is one on every Farm Dragon, the extra farming areas you unlock playing the story. But also there is one IN Studio Palmo. This one is where your furniture is placed when you say you will carry it home. And this is also filled up almost immediately. Why? Because the first time you talk to Palmo after his introduction scene, he says he will give you a free Cooking Table, and he does so, leaving it on that platform. And in case you never speak to him on your own after that intro or missed the dialog, a pretty early request tells you to talk to him to get that table, and you can see the table there. Just like the Wardrobe, you need to move the Cooking Table out of the way, then you can have Palmo or Ryker leave your furniture for you to carry home.
Also, there's much better ways of getting plenty of Lumber and Material Stone. Just progress the story a little, get your first Farm Dragon, and plenty will spawn there, far more than your starting farm. And the stuff that spawns in any farming area will respawn frequently through the day, like every few hours a few new things will appear, even more overnight. Also, since it didn't seem known, the brownish stones, listed as Clay Stone when targeted, can be hit 3 times, and the gray ones, Boulders I believe they are called, can be hit 9 times. Typically its one Material Stone per hit, but when you get better hammers, there seems to be a chance to get more (I only have the next tier and sometimes get 2 drops per hit). Same goes for the stumps, with Rotten Stumps, which are the ones that look like they're rotting, taking 3 hits and the fresh looking ones, just called Stumps, taking 9 hits. And, of course, Rocks and Branches, which you can pick up, place down a stack, and hit once per item in the stack.
As for the Blue Moon Inn, Murakumo actually gives infinite free baths until you reach a higher SEED rank or reach level 20. After that, its 5 free baths or 500 per bath, though I have heard that with that first crest, you can still get 1 free bath each day (haven't checked myself yet). You also regain RP just standing still, though it is slow.
You don't faint or anything if you don't sleep. You just don't heal, and if you sleep too late (or not at all), you don't get Sleeping experience, another useful skill. Better than running in place, however, is to make use of the free baths and just bathe infinitely. Takes no in game time, gives you Bathing experience, gains you friendship with Murakumo (even more because you gain friendship with him as your Bathing skill increases). And running around is something you'll do a lot just playing the game, no need to cheese it like that.
i skipped the tutorial, youd have to be some type of moron not to atuomatically oick this games mechanics up in about 20 minutes
While I was waiting for the game to download, I watched this video. He said that the tips he gives are not given in the game. That's not the case. Every tip he gives the game does as well. So he must've skipped over when the game asked if he wants to learn how to this or that. I didn't skip over that and was told the exact same thing he gives as tips in this video. I just have it as a point to comment on videos that are not being truthful or inaccurate.
