Amazing.
Nothing like the feeling of freedom that accompanies playing on natural ice. There’s no clock to be mindful of, no buzzers reminding you to finish up, no zamboni to bore you as it slowly laps it’s way around the rink - no zamboni drivers to accidentally flood the ice - leaving sticky spots the puck won’t slide over, an open & endless sky spectating - cheering you on, and a little picnic blanket, including refreshments. With Toronto’s usual weather around winter time, the ice is probably not even brittle, or, “green”, as they say, but just soft enough take a sharpened skate blade with a fairly deep ROH without chipping. And all this topped off with a sweet view of the Toronto skyline as well.
“what’s your idea of a perfect day?”
Who wouldn’t say it was this.
Starting a vlog is a great idea. As paid subscribers, we purchase and view your content because, in part, we like your personality (and ofc your content is great too). Starting a vlog means that your audience can build a deeper and more personal relationship with you, and I think that'll be fantastic for your channel growth. Looking forward to it!
John, thank you so much! Perfectly put. Alright! I’ll start doing some more :) thanks again!
OMG, nice place to do skating!
Hockey's global epicentre. Very cool !
Thanks Sean for taking us along on this incredible journey 🏒
Excellent Sean! Do more of these!
for last 30 sec thx ))) from Syberia, Krasnoyarsk, Russia
great video! thanks for the shoot out, I was one of the ferry workers. Loved seeing all the peeps heading over this winter to play a little puck on the natural ice
That’s so great! Thank you for getting us all to and from this winter!!
Very beautiful place to skate on ice!
Loved this video, and yes the drive into the city is my favourite thing ever !!!!
Awesome video can’t wait for more vlogs👍
Freak'n awesome! Love that last clip with the skyline in the background and you going hard to a full stop. From the home of Mathews down here in AZ, you need to get that lad out there to make a clip like yours for the NHL. It would bring eyes to the game for sure!!!
Thank you
!!
Hey man love your videos.. Im from UK but gonna be visiting ottawa in January for a week to skate the canal is there any places I can go to get few lessons while I'm there

Thank you!
Great video, I miss driving into that view
I’m so glad you are doing a vlog on this experience. It’s one thing to share the content, but it’s another level when you share the making of it.
Where is the best shinny game in Toronto? I play shinny all day long Saturday and Sunday on a pond in Milwaukee. I want to road trip to Toronto and play shinny.
Watching this makes me realize I have no good photos/videos of me skating ..! Bucket List
вид шикарный
almost didn't recognize you in normal clothes!
Where is boundary between ice and water that you sailed in through? I assume you on Lame Ontario still.
Who are you??
Love the vid ❤️
