Ford transit Mk 7 engine refurb part 5

This is me putting the top end together, sorry it’s a bit long but I’ve lost some go pro footage and decided to put this up as one vid instead of two, please fast forwards to the bit you want to see, head gasket, egr delete, timing, flywheel.

Well. Done Gazza.. I found it alot easier taking the gearbox out with it.. So easy to re-install... Can't wait to hear it running!!

Best way I’ve found to clean valves runners is with a shultz gun but with crushed walnut shell media blast all the gunk out in about 30seconds It’s a safe way of doing it! Can be done in lots of petrol engines with direct injection can be done in situ also!

Great stuff Gazza ,huge sense of achievement when it finally comes together, that`s quite a mega job, very fiddly especially on your own buddy , Blooming egr/dpf/emissions crap designed purely to fail 100% and cost for repairs is insane ,,, fair play to you buddy ,,ATB Matty
