Especially when you clicked on the video, even though the title is EAXACTLY what the video is.
It's people who work at the loser pickle companies haha
I can give you one explanation to it. Which is the one criteria I had for disliking this video. It is not about the guy talking about the pickles and their difference. I actually wanted to watch the video because that reason. The dislike comes from the fact of the "guessing" which one is more expensive than the other. Of course the presenter had already seen the more expensive than the cheaper, he was told the order of it. Making the video no legit. Do you believe how ridiculous would be to be a pickle expert and fail in this video. Embarrassing isn't it? So it is the fraud, sham, deceitfulness in this video having someone to GUESS.

Do have to say it's kinda nice when the expert actually prefers the less expensive product. Think the only other time I can remember seeing that was with the ice cream video.
Salty Seawitch same here. I expected him to say that all the expensive ones were better, but it felt like most of the cheaper ones were better in taste to him. It’s nice to know that just because something costs a lot, it doesn’t mean it’s automatically better.
The knife expert did this too
Same with the chocolate expert, said theres a time and placr
The bread expert was really fair about how the really cheap bread kept people from starving.

As an asian, I would love to see a cheap vs expensive video on rice. Pls, pls, pls...
@Hi there Never know until you try. Rice is a big product in Asia, there should be big variations in price for different kinds of rice. Like long grain, short grain, sticky rice etc..
@@zerho21 There definitely are huge differences between rice varieties, but in my own experience (mind that I'm no expert) the differences largely only mildly impact cost and quality and are generally not suited to this type of audio-visual format.
@@chiblast100x just suggesting, thanks for pointing out that my idea is bad.
@@zerho21 To me, Korean and Japanese rice are the best tasting and it's usually pretty expensive. Chinese rice is very aromatic and is also very good. We usually buy Thai rice as that's what I'm used to eating and it's only like $50 for a 25 lb bag. Also very good. I'm not a huge fan of Indian rice such as basmati as to me, it's expensive and just not good rice as it doesn't have any flavor and it's kind of a harder rice whereas I like mine to be a little softer. I do like sticky rice a lot and it's my prefer rice but we normally don't eat it too often. That's my take on rice as I have no clue what type of rice it is other than where they're from and that's how I categorize rice is where they're from.
You'd need some time lapsing to examine both the dry grain and the cooked rice, but I think this would work with the format.

The expert is Bob McClure of McClure Pickles which he started with his brother, Joe, in 2006.
“Using their maternal great-grandmother’s spicy pickle recipe, brothers Bob, 35, and Joe, 33, have become a legend in the world of artisanal cukes, but they never planned it that way. Starting with that original spicy pickle, the McClure’s started peddling their goods in 2006, and today, though they still stick to cucumbers, they have garlic-dill, sweet and spicy, and arguably the best Bloody Mary mix ever made. Though you can find McClure’s Pickles all over the country at select stores, and even in specialty shops in Australia, the United Kingdom, Ireland, and South Korea, the operation remains small and family owned. From his office in Michigan, Bob McClure took the time to fill us in on what makes his pickles so darn special.”

When it’s 2am and you’re supposed to be writing an essay due in the morning but you’d rather watch pickle videos
Me: any food that is mass produced is going to cost less because it’s easier to make- colorants, low quality ingredients, imitations/extracts, uniformity, and large quantities of salt and/or sugar are going to indicate a lower cost product. Which doesn’t make it bad, it’s what a lot of people like, it’s what puts food on a lot of people’s tables because it’s more affordable. But it does typically mean you’re getting something less unique and not very high quality.
