      It's supprising that people don't talk about this more. Because this is literally the mistake that lost dwg the game.
      It's not just that single death of showmaker, dwg then lost another kill and drag because they had no mid. Afterwards, dwg lost all momentum and wasted baron buff and c9 was then able to drag the game long enough for their scaling to kick in.

    • @m4ng4n

      @@thanhdohuu9473 in all honesty it was the R5 sylas pick the one that spiralled down to DK needing to go for stupid over-forced plays because they were getting hard outscaled. No point in sving last pick for mid if you're not going to use it on a hard counter. You can R5 kassadin for hard lane counter and outscaling, R5 ekko if you really want to double down on the early game out-tempo shit. You can also flex jayce into the midlane and R5 riftmaker/aegis+demonic embrace zac which counter lee sin, gives you even more hard engage and has stupidly high AP damage while also outscaling.

      @m4ng4n 3 роки тому

      friendly reminder that yes Vulcan is most probably the best western support but it's Perkz first split with the team and you can already see the difference. Not just as a midlaner keeping up with showmaker (which would be absolutely impossible with nisqy), specially his constant aggression, but also as a shotcaller, this C9 feels WAY more G2-ey than 2020 iteration and that's a very good thing.

His ults were the single biggest factor in why they came back in dragons and made the game last so long. It’s just that C9’s comp outscales. Rumble has always been an early to mid champion. In the really late game it doesn’t matter if he drops an immaculate ult. It just won’t do as much as it did in the early and mid game. I didn’t think he had a single ult that was poorly placed.

    I honestly believe C9 gave the cloud drake away on purpose. They showed so little interest in it despite it being pretty easy to take for them and instead focused their attention on the other side of the map as if to encourage DW to take it.
    This created some positive effects for C9:
    1. If they simply stall, play safe, and get some more CS on their carries they won't get put so far behind they can't take or challenge the next dragon.
    2. Buying time enables their more powerful scaling comp (especially the tristana who was behind the curve a little) to utilize its strengths
    3. no cloud drake pushes the possibility for dragon soul later into the game (again, where C9 has a better chance of winning)
    4. no cloud drake means they can stack 3 mountain dragons before soul and make the buff that much stronger.
