I honestly believe C9 gave the cloud drake away on purpose. They showed so little interest in it despite it being pretty easy to take for them and instead focused their attention on the other side of the map as if to encourage DW to take it. This created some positive effects for C9: 1. If they simply stall, play safe, and get some more CS on their carries they won't get put so far behind they can't take or challenge the next dragon. 2. Buying time enables their more powerful scaling comp (especially the tristana who was behind the curve a little) to utilize its strengths 3. no cloud drake pushes the possibility for dragon soul later into the game (again, where C9 has a better chance of winning) 4. no cloud drake means they can stack 3 mountain dragons before soul and make the buff that much stronger.

Honestly Vulcan has been on par with Corejj ever since he was on Clutch Gaming in 2019.
Honestly Core and Vulcan have been on par with each other as the definitive best 2 supports in the region since just before Vulcan came to C9.
Finally Fudge and Blaber stepped up and you can see how strong the team can be. Here’s hoping they keep this up. Great game!
Don't knownif Vedius corrects himself. Pretty sure @7:33 Beryl hits the hook and Vulcan cancels it. Slow it down you see th le damage come in from the hook
Well done boys!! Let's go!
NA aka 'Near Airport' is ... oh wait
Vulcans engages were insane!
What is it with NA beating World Champs in MSI?!
does he call them clown9 at 3:20? lol
Jeez fast af bro ilu
thanks
I haven't played in a while. Can someone tell me why Lee Sin is now a top laner?
Always has been.
They buffed his e multiple times, so you go e max. Really good wave clear and really good short trades vs melee.
Man, finally. NA is actually showing up for once. Granted a lot of the talent may not be originally from NA it's about time we are taken more seriously in the professional scene. C9 ftw babyyy
Vulcan was still great in this game. And Fudge isn't from NA but I doubt Fudge would look as good as he did here without joining C9, they are great at facilitating young talent
@@11DaltonB Totally agree with you. Reaper and the other coaches really are something out of this world
@@steezeyreviews1186 Right now I believe its Reignover, Mithy, and some other well-known coaches/analysts. Reapered left at the end of last year I believe, and he's going to 100T this summer.
@@ht4373 its funny because people only mention this when they win but when they lose it's "NA BAD OMEGALUL" make up ur minds.
@@ht4373 Only 2 players... unless you're counting coaches.
The flash by perkz at about 19:30 was 200 IQ
And Zven played that fight at 22:00 sooooo bad 😂
amazing sup. and many beautiful combinations
iM from EU G2 fan but ive always watched NA, c9 has always been my favourite NA team, now i like them even more with Perkz my favourite player. I think they could beat any EU team right now. They look really strong. Btw this fudge is a beast of NA talent
Its amazing that you can get these up in english before the LOL site can. They need to fix their shit.
Thanks.
47:51 "Tristana Level 18 the longest range"
*Laughs in Rekkles Senna*
Okay gotta say im not a fan of c9 but perkz and fudge played this like it was semifinals. To all of you that are dissing c9 its about time you acknowledged them and this game proves what this team can achieve. Just zven need to relax a bit because he is going rambo mode but overall they are doing really good!
Acknowledge C9?? DK just inted the draft over by giving the 2 strongest lane picks in the game to C9. Nothing that C9 did here that couldn't be achieved by any standard team.
@@XBezerkerX Imagine being this salty
@@jordanpountney4159 Salty? I couldn't care less. C9 are a below average team and DK are prone to losing to weaker teams (see the last 3 years history) especially when they int the draft this hard.
@@XBezerkerX You’ve made a point to comment multiple times so you clearly do care. Korean fanboy upset his team lost to a NA “wildcard” is all this is.
@@jordanpountney4159 NA is statistically worse than wildcard in International actually :)
This is why C9 is the best team for NA to send internationally. Good job boys
41:48 why not kick rumble out of the pit
Quoting words from Hamilton: You got love for it, you got hate for it, you got nothing if you wait for it wait for it wait for it....To Damwon.
39:45 watch carefully
I was like OMG DWG grouped together in a choke, Viktor gonna blow them up....wait, where is Viktor's ult????
Reported for griefing
Yeah, that was one of the biggest flops I've ever seen lmao
kai sa flashed, what can you do
@@adriangheorghe1833 He didn't even try to move the ult, watch how long that ult sit there.
@@polystyleshaping8919 maybe because rumble ult was there? he can t ult to 1k range, he ulted kai sa because she was closer and he couldn t reach deeper
People who refuse to believe NA can do well think in the following way.
-Does NA lose?
If yes - ha they suck
If no- match fixing
If no- they aren't even NA
If no- lucky
I'm not saying NA is gonna win but they played well just say that and bite your tongue. But if they do win people are just gonna say they paid to do it. That disrespectful and delusional.
they are barely na tho :/ that's just how it is
@@pikminologueraisin2139 I'm not saying thats not the case. I'm saying Vulcan, blabber, and *Fudge shouldn't be discredited. They are na and I think they are playing great for (I think) all of their second time international events.
41:45 why doesnt fudge just ulti rumble away LOL
he sucks i guess
Ah yes, the classic "let's just wait and fight Viktor and Tristana later" strategy.
They fought the whole game?
@@DispelLoL didn't look like they were trying to end fast enough in my opinion.
Huge support and top gap this game lmao
no, it was comp gap lmao, jayce and sylas shit picks. Nautilus always looks like that when it doesn't get an early lead, remember wolf's nautilus that lost SKT their MSI finals?
@@m4ng4n Kaisa is also such a shit pick against champions that can punish her lack of mobility, which is like literally every champion in the meta atm.
@@cat-vv9xb yes, 100% agree!
Don’t, don’t give me hope.
Showmaker fucking inted. Got wayyyy too cocky.
i am not a c9 fan but that was a great game. good job both teams.
best game ive seen in a long time
best msi game so far
From an Eu fan In the end of the game I just got up from my chair and clapped. Really great game C9 almost perfect!
Such a good performance by c9 i was so confident that dk wozld win this.
Very exciting game!
Bruh I look away for one second and Lee Top is meta while Rumble Jungle is also meta. Also hella nice game for the C9 boys 👍
41:39 best Alistar n worth place to stand by Kaisa
Throwmaker 35:28
The boys came to play today
Crazy game!!! Lets go C9!!
actually a support gap, vulcan won this 100%
My fac NA team C9. Really is in the clouds! GGWP
My prediction was right .. c9 can have a proactive plays and gameplay which they can able to execute perfectly with teamfight and drafts .. then lee sins fudge top
I honestly believe C9 gave the cloud drake away on purpose. They showed so little interest in it despite it being pretty easy to take for them and instead focused their attention on the other side of the map as if to encourage DW to take it.
This created some positive effects for C9:
1. If they simply stall, play safe, and get some more CS on their carries they won't get put so far behind they can't take or challenge the next dragon.
2. Buying time enables their more powerful scaling comp (especially the tristana who was behind the curve a little) to utilize its strengths
3. no cloud drake pushes the possibility for dragon soul later into the game (again, where C9 has a better chance of winning)
4. no cloud drake means they can stack 3 mountain dragons before soul and make the buff that much stronger.
Best game so far on MSI imo
