gragas requires a decisive player. In order to use kaisa it forces the whole RNG line up to take tanks, which requires extremely high level of macro and decisiveness to play. But C9 picks completely neutralize because they have range cc, a global shield and sivir ult. It might not be obvious but this C9 line up is a great way to counter 4 for 1 comp of RNG. That's why RNG is going for bruiser vs Gen. They need tankiness but still some dmg and cc or at least a winning lane

These games means nothing. RNG is playing some weird comp against c9 and they still stand on top. If you paid attention you’ll realize that c9 is playing the comp that RNG used to beat them earlier. Maybe RNG underestimated c9 but if RNG treat this more serious then c9 really has no chance.

Exactly, finally someone who understands. Those big teams have the luxury of experimenting things (teamcomps, play styles), simply because they know they can win other games to cover up for the games they lose because they try some new stuff.
To many people it looks like RNG lost hard today, but RNG is actually preparing for later stages and tougher opponents. They want the title!
