As a person who is absolutely into the light-hearted genre and the scenes of every street corner, every road in Korea, “A Piece of Your Mind” truly brings me a peaceful feeling when enjoying the drama. Not being a strict person so I rate 9/10 for the visual as well as the acting of all characters. Moreover, the chemistry between Jung Hae In and other actors is undoubtedly amazing, and I am also rooting for Soo Bin as I have seen all her dramas before. Hence, I must say that both actors are very talented and well-matched to each other. Maybe because the drama follows such a rather confusing sequence between past and present, as well as the mystery that Mr. Jang is trying to hide, but I think that is the way the director wants to keep audiences always on the edge of their seat, in order not to miss any second. However, as not having any drama or sensational parts so it is promptly left behind by other on-going movies. It is a pity when the plot will be reduced, the love story hasn't started yet and I just want to be immersed in more sweetness between the two main characters. I hope that there will be a special episode, or maybe a small wedding at the end of the drama. In this difficult time of real life, there are many kinds of emotions that are easily forgotten by us, even trying to repress. The love mentioned in this drama is one special kind that touches every heart if they listen carefully, see deeply from the bottom of their hearts. It's unrequited love that one is always waiting, always hoping, always curious about everything from the other half, knowing a little more about him or her is extremely happy. The feeling of love is being nourished, smoldering and fueling that can brighten those gloomy days of real life. That feeling was very strange, either wanting to go a little further, or wanting to stop that nobody would know it ever exists. Ha Won's unrequited love lasted for up to 10 years. The love he buried in his heart was not easy. Seo Woo’s love is a bit more hopeful. Therefore, following the pace of love they reveal in this drama is one kind of very respectable happiness in this time of social isolation. Regarding the acting, we could not expect more from the cast. They are doing brilliantly with their performances. The feelings that Hae In and Soobin bring are so true and touching. Every small change in their facial expressions, their eyes, their smiles, the tranquility shown in them or the persistent gaze at each other, … or even many times they were looking at the other person from afar, from behind,… Everything brings a constant sense of precious emotions to viewers. Hae In is the most perfect Ha Won and Soobin has also become a hard-to-replace Seo Woo. Hae In's acting in this film proves the capability of a talented actor. He is so young but calm, mature and deeper in thoughts than Hae In’s previous roles. This role represents the passionate training in acting of Jung Hae In. Chae Soo Bin plays this role like her true self, “acting like not acting”. I have a feeling that she doesn't need to work so hard to still fully express the charming, caring and optimistic Seo Woo. It’s also Soo Bin’s nature in real life. The filming techniques used in this drama also bring special emotions to the viewers, the slow transition, the scenes focus on the actor's face in many different angles, capturing every expression successfully. The film is a success that many other movies do not have. It goes right into the heart of the audience. Viewers who follow this drama are able to admire the ability of the actors as well as fully feel the emotions they bring through the slow pace of plot filming. Colors of the scenes and the light are beautiful as a poem drawn from memories. I have watched a lot of different Korean movies but I dare say the color of this film will remain forever in the memories of true fans with many special impressions. "A Piece of Your Mind" was such a beautiful series! The script and score were excellent. The acting was superb. Admittedly, I'd happily watch Chae Soo-Bin wash her socks for two hours, if given the opportunity. I love when she has monologues, the timbre and flow of her voice is perfection. And her laughter is glorious. In case you're not sure, I'm definitely a fan of hers.
