With the car stripped, the rear end of the cosmo reminds me of the front end of a Vauxhall Chevette

Incredible transformation of a car. Which most would have discarded as unrepairable

Your efforts on this car are amazing. To be honest I don't think I have seen such a rusty car. I remember many years ago a guy, who lived two doors up from my parents house, who bought a 65 T bird to restore. Unfortunately the car was not restored and slowly rusted and sank into his garden over a 20 year period. Despite several people wanting to buy it the guy wouldn't sell and when he passed away the family had the car cut up where it lay and even the big block went in the skip. This said I don't think it was as rusty as the Cosmo. It will be great to see it back in all its glory.

This is definitely my favourite restoration on this channel. I'm constantly amazed by the amount of rust you keep uncovering.

Anyone in the right mind would know that the pile of rust and holes held together by the remains of the paint that you started with was only fit for the landfill. Lucky you lot are all crazy enough to take this restoration task on. Can't wait to see the final result.

This car made Schmee’s 914 look like only a door ding repair. Crazy, when does it stop being a Cosmo and just a handmade replica!? 😜

It was very nice to watch you all take part in finishing the car. Everyone's craftmanship is top notch in my opinion.
I don't know anything about the later stages of your project, because I'd rather watch the videos in order until the end. I hope you don't mind.

I presume that there was a reason why you didn't the plasma cutter for those footwell/bulkhead panels. It looks as though it would have been ideal - did you just not have enough time to do the computer work ? Best wishes.

@@russthebiker Ooh, don't get me wrong, I completely agree with you. However, there are more than a few cases where the owner claims "money is no object" and then they start to realize the resto is going to cost way more than they expected. Then the project gets halted... It doesn't look like this will happen to this resto.. It would be interesting to see what the final tally ends up.. 🙂
