Do you feel better now that you’ve had it removed being that you posted this comment a year ago? I hope you do, I wish you all the best! Thank you ❤️🙏

3 yrs ago at age 28 I had a medulloblastoma removed succesfully . It apparantly is very rare that adults get this, because medulloblastoma usually only occurs with young kids. I am pretty much a very rare case over here in my country. I can't find any young adult brain tumor survivors, let alone young adult medulloblastoma survivors. I am doing ok. As a side effect of the surgery, I obtained double vision (got used to that with adjusted glasses), balance problems (under control now, I can walk outside in the real world without anyone noticing), and some minor issues like subtile throat muscle control issues, subtile head tension, occasional nausea when looking straight up too much). So I can say, yes it's possible to get through this. Long term expectations? No idea, doctors don't really have an opinion, because I assume there are no other references/cases in the same situation like me...

Hello, I'm glad you are doing good. My brother had a complete tumor removal surgery this year at 37. Had radiotherapy and is in quemo now. He is doing really well and I hope tumor never comes back🙏. You are right, only a few adults has this cancer.

mplsridah where was her tumor? Hubby’s is pressing on the brain stem, pons area. It’s very large 1 inch by 1/2 inch. They said he will die without surgery. He’s already partially paralyzed on right side, sudden rapid onset of weakness in right leg to being wobbly to needing a walker, right hand doesn’t really work, all in 3 weeks. I’m scared
I sincerely hope that this guy has learned a To since this video. I had a grade three removed in early 20 followed by 6 weeks of daily radiotherapy and 6 months of chemotherapy. Now in late 22 I still cannot make it through the day without a sleep and severe head pain. Working, no matter how much I would like to return to work is out of the question. I simply do not have the energy.
I'm curious, my mom finished chemo/radiation almost a month ago and is eating very little and sleeping all the time. I know it's normal to be tired after treatment but I'm worried about the minimal amount of nutrition she is getting. It's a vicious cycle, if she doesn't eat, she doesn't have energy and if she doesn't have energy she loses her strength. I'm a radiation therapist, so to some extent, like I said I realize this is part of the process... Especially when dealing with the brain, I just wonder if you could give some personal input on your experience. My mom has a specific tumor marker which indicates she should respond well to treatment and reoccurrence isn't likely. That being said the decline in her physically is quite troubling to see. It very much so mimics end of life activity. While we've been assured she will make it through this.

I hate doctors , I have anxiety and I’m used to headaches but I got new severe headaches and a variety of other symptoms and I kept telling them that it wasn’t anxiety , turns out I had a tumor . I’m telling you once they diagnose you with depression, doctors are in control , they tell you whatever your feeling is cause of your mental state . They gotta have a more open mind cause what if something is actually wrong like in my case , they gotta listen to their patients and not just say “ yes depression causes that , yeah anxiety causes this” - I’m fucking aware of that but I know my body more than anyone else

What happens after a brain tumor surgery, the entire left side of the body cannot move? Does that mean it's permanent damaged by the surgery? is there a chance of it recovering back to normal? Thanks!
As someone who just had a benign tumor removed successfully almost four months ago i can say we recover but in different ways. All i got was double vision and trouble swallowing water and food which sucks because im on a feeding tube. My speech is a little off but everything is recovering great. Walking is almost perfect stopped using one 3 days of being home. But i was in the hospital for 3 weeks prior to my surgery then one month in hospital after surgery. Got sent home on January 21 2021.
Same that to me I had 5 brain operation and now I'm still recovering because my right side of my body is not okay it's like it's not balance that's why I'm afraid to go downstairs 😥
My brother had a brain tumer surgery but after that surgery he is unable to stand and walk. He is able to move his limbs.May be there is something wrong with his spinal cord. Is there some solution of this problem???
Bryon Bartholomew thanks for your reply bro, hope all is well, you made my day when you said you had your vision back, my mom doesn't have her vision back just yet because it has been 2 months since the surgery, she's still in the recovery room and they just had an eye doctor come and check her eyes out, I'm hoping she's gonna get her vision back in in 6 months time. She had a little sight problem before the surgery and the dr. promised us that she'll get full 20/20 vision after surgery, we're very hopeful.

i dont know if i have a brain tumor or if its just stress and worring or anxiety. but i do get head pain and sometimes i just feel weird on my brain idk why. and i do have vision and hearing loss, but idk if those are related to the tumor cuz i do play like 4-7 hours a day. and once someone screamed really loud in my ear, and also the concerts are really loud so that also might have caused it. so idk if my brain hurts or my head. and it also takes time for me to memorise something, for example, where we were yesterday, it takes me like 10 seconds or more. and i also have trouble thinking, but i just dont know if im over thinking, or if i just have trouble thinking. someone please tell me if its a brain tumour or just anxiety (worry and stress)
Would 30 rounds of radiation treatment ever be given to someone with a benign brain tumor that was removed in the frontal lobe? The tumor had begun effecting the patients motor skills, however although the surgeon didn't get the entire tumor, would radiation ever be recommended?

My father underwent surgery for a non-secreting pituitary tumor, he had seizures after the operation and loss of strength in the right side of the body, so far he has had two normal brain scans, waiting for an electroencephalogram, it would be good if they did an MRI? (since I have read that brain scans detect from 2mm of lesion upwards- his strength, speech and motor skills have improved, he is very sleepy due to the anticonvulsants, hopefully God and science can make him functional again, I have doubts if There will have been some negligence, day 7 post operation, I have read that up to week 6 there is a greater weight% of the recoveries.

The moral is *TRUST YOUR INSTINCTS*

What happens after a brain tumor surgery, the entire left side of the body cannot move? Does that mean it's permanent damaged by the surgery? is there a chance of it recovering back to normal? Thanks!
Yah I too want and for these questions Mann anyone of you plzzzzz
We can recover 💕
As someone who just had a benign tumor removed successfully almost four months ago i can say we recover but in different ways. All i got was double vision and trouble swallowing water and food which sucks because im on a feeding tube. My speech is a little off but everything is recovering great. Walking is almost perfect stopped using one 3 days of being home. But i was in the hospital for 3 weeks prior to my surgery then one month in hospital after surgery. Got sent home on January 21 2021.
@@tylerboles1994 i hope you're doing well and able to eat again! god will look after you.

What are the dangerous side effects post surgery?
For me, recovery has been slow with many ups and downs. However I have progressive Multiple Sclerosis which most likely effects recovery.
I had a baseball sized tumor removed from my brain
I hope your doing good.
Hope you're doing well bro, did you experience anything in terms of temperory vision loss?
Yea I did for about 6 months I have vision back but it’s double vision my eye drifted and had to have it straightened up but it will never be the same
Thanks Katrina and I’m 100% ish
Bryon Bartholomew thanks for your reply bro, hope all is well, you made my day when you said you had your vision back, my mom doesn't have her vision back just yet because it has been 2 months since the surgery, she's still in the recovery room and they just had an eye doctor come and check her eyes out, I'm hoping she's gonna get her vision back in in 6 months time. She had a little sight problem before the surgery and the dr. promised us that she'll get full 20/20 vision after surgery, we're very hopeful.

Is it risky for patient if sometime dizziness occur after 7 year of brain tumor surgery???
We recommend speaking to a health care provider around this.
i dont know if i have a brain tumor or if its just stress and worring or anxiety. but i do get head pain and sometimes i just feel weird on my brain idk why. and i do have vision and hearing loss, but idk if those are related to the tumor cuz i do play like 4-7 hours a day. and once someone screamed really loud in my ear, and also the concerts are really loud so that also might have caused it. so idk if my brain hurts or my head. and it also takes time for me to memorise something, for example, where we were yesterday, it takes me like 10 seconds or more. and i also have trouble thinking, but i just dont know if im over thinking, or if i just have trouble thinking.
someone please tell me if its a brain tumour or just anxiety (worry and stress)
I’d see a doctor if you truly believe this is a concern.
The best thing to do is tell your doctor and if they believe that there could be something wrong the will schedule an MRI or something to help

I would advice you for some medication to enable quick recovery
