@True Scotsman no it wasn't ,to address the question-the storyline had many plots and holes etc in it as the show was going through a well publised troubled era and many of the executive producers [there were 4 different executive producers between September 04-February 05] kept coming in and changing things or making mistakes so no 1 executive producer or management team oversaw the entire story ....hence the holes and inconsistencies in the plot as the story went on from February-November of that year. Also the storyline had to be changed as the long term plan was for there to be a trial but as 2 of the actresses decided to leave [Michelle Ryan and Kym Medcalf and Oberman was pregnant] they had to rewrite the conclusion to the story which we are seeing in the video. Even Oberman herself said the plot stopped making sense in an interview when she stated " the writers must have been high on vrack....plots didn't make logical or emotional sense - but they said, 'That's the soap convention, dear, get used to it'". That's the problems with long running storylines- inconsistencies and plot holes will emerge as writers etc will change over time or actors will leave etc. There were also inconsistencies or unexplained things in the Lucy Beale murder saga by the end of it. You have to factor here things like the actor who played Lauren got pregnant and had to bow out for a year on maternity or the actor who played Ian's son quit the show too as it was playing out.

Dennis must really have loved her to forgive all her controlling ways and not believing him. Once zoe was out the way the cracks in their relationship showed. Weirdly now that chrissie was set free Sharon forgave her and said she realised how Den pushed people. The show only klled Den off because the actor annoyed them, he and Andy. Wonder what would happen if Kat married Andy
