Surprised you went for Jupiter before doing Versailles. Jupiter is Hizaki and Teru (guitars) from Versailles plus a different drummer and vocalist. Honestly, these two guys (yes Hizaki is a dude ) are two of the best guitarists and song writers I've ever heard out of many Japanese bands I've listened to. Teru tends to solo more aggressively whereas Hizaki likes to do really soulful solos, but they can both sherd like hell when they feel like it. To be honest, I LOVE Hizaki as a guitarist/songwriter and model my playing after his, but I do like Versailles more than Jupiter--Jupiter are awesome, but they switch up styles a lot where Versailles is straight Neo-classical power metal. Check them out: "Aristocrat's Symphony" ua-cam.com/video/x1I3JLVs8YI/v-deo.html "Ascendead Master" ua-cam.com/video/ilzoDGcKF9M/v-deo.html Also check Hizaki's solo stuff (get more of his quirky stares😄) ua-cam.com/video/PXeyX4uK8T4/v-deo.html
😂 Great reaction once again! The "stare" is actually a very common thing in Visual Kei. Some say it's to draw in the [predominantly female] audience ;) Jupiter was founded by 4 of the 5 members of Versailles in 2013 [Versailles ended their activities in 2012 but they've been playing together ocationally again since 2015] At the moment the two bands only share their guitarists. I feel reluctant writing this because we all have different tastes and you might like some of Jupiters songs better (!) but I feel kinda sure that Versailles would be more to your tastes overall. Less power metal, more symphonic metal. If you want to be knocked off your chair and have your heart teared out you have to listen to their epic masterpiece Faith and Decision. [The song was written in memory of their late bassist Jasmine You] ua-cam.com/video/0_iRWVMM8-I/v-deo.html But if that's too long for you, try Thanatos. I feel like this song is incredibly underrated and I just love the bass in this one so much! ua-cam.com/video/9T_HSlxqzBA/v-deo.html
Júpiter is such an amazing band, kinda underated though.
