Yes. You can program the ecu to "race mode" as the deafult. It sings a siren's song while it splits atoms. Why would you buy a savage R1 if that's not what you want?

@@Reaper1K yeah I was gonna purchase an R1 when I wrecked my 06 zx10r, but I could never get in contact with the sellers or when I called someone was in the process of buying it. Matter fact I was gonna roll all the way to the ATL just to buy one just like yours but it was red and black the Raven addition. Enjoy bro

MAN R1 SOUNDS AMAZING
I upgraded my R1 to the graves headers and exhaust and it got rid of the "blop blop" at idle. It sounds awesome at all revs now and responds even crispier. But it's grumpy at startup and launches giant fireballs.
Great video, and there's no proving you wrong on the fact that the R1 sounds the best. It's one of the many reasons I intend to get a 2016+ R1.
