This is so helpful I'm giving birth in two months and I'm saving this video for when it gets closer I literally had no idea what to pack
My 1st time I overpacked & didnt even use the things I took with me lol but the hospital will provide everything for you. Congrats on your pregnancy! 🥰
I also just packed my hospital bag for the second time and after watching this video realised I forgot to pack toothbrush and paste! Need to still pack my going home outfit too. I’m high risk and I’ve been told I’ll have to stay for 2 days so baby and myself can be monitored after birth. Had to pack a few outfits for myself and baby. I have a whole carry on suitcase
Congrats girl !!! When are you due? 🥰🥰Yes better safe than sorry with extra outfit especially if you’re told you might have to stay! I was high risk as well but I was determined to leave at the minimum of 24 hours mark because my toddler was going crazy at home 😅 !
You must be very lucky you got pregnant with out any problems good luck with your pregnancy
I literally just packed pjs and an outfit for the baby to wear home.
You must be in the usa? In canada they don't provide you a single thing for labor or postpartum
@@Yanaruskovano I’m in Canada. I was just really young and not so organized 😂
Thank you!! 🙏🏾
You're so welcome ! How far along are you? ❤️

Thank you!
❤️
Feels lik going fr a picnic😂
That's kinda what it felt like 😂 since it was my second labor and I went in SUPER relaxed about it
The biggest difference between my first and second birth is adding my own blanket and pillow the second time. Also bringing an empty bag to stuff all the hospital goodies in 😂
smart haha ! are you from the states? in Canada, nothing is provided to you after you give birth for you or the baby !
Please let me know if you have one also for the husband 🙏🏻😣💖
He can pack his own! 🤪
Is that your 1st pregnancy
Second ! 💝
How in the hell are two hair combs used for pain relief???
Please explain, I really truly want to know.
😮😮😮
Great question! I use it during contractions and during uncomfortable situations like when they insert needles, foley balloon, manually break the water, cervical checks, etc.
Here’s from the internet: “Squeezing a comb during labor can reduce labor pain because:
Your hand has many acupressure points: Many areas on the palm of your hand, when stimulated, can help reduce pain in your stomach and lower back and reduce the emotional stress response in your body that can accompany physical pain.”
Look up “Birth Comb” for more information about it and to read stories of other women who have used it during labor, you will be amazed, it’s an absolute game changer and I’ve used it with my first child during labor as well and I 💯 recommend it, it’s the most important item in my hospital bag!
Hope this helps ! ❤️
Do you really need twenty diapers to go home with
Absolutely, at least in Canada 🇨🇦 ! I breastfeed my babies and breastfed babies have more diaper changes since it gets digested at a faster rate and the hospital recommends to bring at least one whole pack of newborn diapers since they don’t provide you with anything, plus you never know how long you will need to stay after giving birth. So it’s always better to be prepared, plus it doesn’t take much space, they’re so small 😊.
The average newborn goes through 8-12 diapers a day. If anything, that's not enough
The correct response to this is **it depends on what your specific hospital provides**
It’s nice being prepared, but don’t hospitals provide postpartum underwear and diapers too. At least the times I had babies they did, they even sent me with extra packs of diapers and lots of postpartum underwear and other items too.
Hospitals in canada don't provide you with anything . Which country did you give birth in?
@@Yanaruskova I’m in the US, but even relatives that have given birth in Mexico get provided with the things they need. But I guess every coin has its good and bads.
How did you find out you were pregnant again
1. The smells of everything was suddenly very strong again (couldn't stand smell of salmon etc)
2. Random nausea throughout the day
3. Missed period (I track it)
4. So I finally did a pregnancy test
Just watched a first-time mom pack 5 white, frilly outfits for herself and baby, and I laughed. Girl, you aren't gonna change clothes that many times, and even if you do, they'll be so stained
You are in so much pain you don't care if you are full naked. You just want baby to be out. Speaking as someone who didn't take anything for pain. What iv they gave it actually increased pain I think.
Exactly !! that’s why I didn’t bring a “hospital outfit” , I just wear the hospital gown since it will get dirty and full of blood anyways !
Not minimalist hospital bag 😅
Kennedy avenue
I didn’t pack anything they they give you everything at the hospital
You must be in the US, they provide you with nothing in Canada, thus why we need to bring everything 😊
hiuoo
😊
Sorry but u don't need all that
