I have watched street food on you tube from all over the world, they just put massive amount of meat on items. I watched this one from London and I am flabbergasted London street food weighing the meat out that they put on, that sums them up
Many many years ago I used to go to Food for Thought in Covent Garden, very reasonable, very good, healthy vegetarian food. They closed down due to high cost of rent. I find M&S Food Hall, or Waitrose a blessing in West End areas, super clean and tasty, and you do not pay London prices either. Last visit to London, I bought two packs each 130 grams of pre packed king prawn in tasty chilli sauce for £5 @ Waitrose in the basement of John Lewis Oxford street. I, also, bought a loaf of SF sourdough bread and a large bottle of apple juice. I went to a park and really enjoyed my food. London is a joke these days unless you’re loaded.
Prices are higher than restaurant prices. They would rather sell less at a price that is too high than make more profit by selling more at a lower cost. When tourism starts to fall off even more, they will be gone.
Yeah street food at Rich people's prices, it's a joke, that whole market is a joke to be honest. That's why you don't get many Londoners actually buying stuff there, mostly tourists.
@Zee123Hammer to be honest some look like a big portion but ain't, you'll only know when you go there and visit each food bit to see their actual portions.

Years ago, this was truly a market with great vendors and artisan stalls. Now it is a big food hall with prepared food stalls. Lost the magic.
Gorgeous food. Thank you.
When you watch Katz deli slicers and watch this, it looks tough that pastrami
If you want nice reasonably priced food get out of that CESSPIT LONDON. The rest of the country is delicious and beautiful
I hope the market near the Barbican is still going. Went for my lunch there a few times.
At 18:30 the train made it sound like the start of a Terminator movie, as Arny would say "I'll be back".
Not at these prices he won’t 😂
Judgement Day!!!! Best movie ever
I go there a few times.. won't lie some of the food is stupidly over expensive..
Just some ???
How much is the average price?
@Zee123Hammer you'll be look between £8-£14 depending on what type of food.
@@stevenbarclay8159 the portion size looks quite large though?

Street food vendors expect far too much profit nowadays. Combine the greed with the astronomical food costs, and it's simply not worth it.
❤ OMG, that sandwich looks SOOOO good..
6.30 Thai food 👍👍
Who knew that London had better street food than New York.
