It's disgusting how these guys keep touching the food with their bare hands, without wearing any gloves. Especially the raw meat. 9:56. 🤮 And that guy making the burgers doesn't know what he's doing. You don't smash the hamburgers like that because it just squeezes out all the juices and makes them dry. Eww

Do it yourself then if you are disgusted when someone else is making food for you. Americans are obsessed with sterile conditions. I always see on here and UA-cam etc that Americans wear gloves, and seem to think that not wearing gloves is dirty or something.
What's the deal? I don't get it. I'm from the UK and I've also been in Germany/France and have never worked in a kitchen that everyone wears gloves in, nor have I ever heard anyone talking about it as if it matters. The only time I'd wear gloves is if I was working with something really hot or sticky or something like that. The gloves is a false sense of security and it's useless unless you are changing gloves every fews minutes , think about where bacteria grows - warm, moist places. you know, like the inside of a plastic glove that is not changed nearly enough, or if the cook is simply going from glove to glove without washing in between. The americans public has this weird thing were if they see someone touch their food who isn't wearing gloves they freak out because they can't comprehend that people working in food service know how to wash their hands. There's always comments like "the guy at the sandwich shop touched grabbed the roll and he wasn't wearing gloves! Eww! I'm never going back there!"
