after playing many kaizo levels in cuphead, hk, and mario, i was hoping someone would do something similar for pizza tower. this seems really fun, even if i don't understand half of the speedrun tech used, i look forward to checking it out.

Uppercutting bombs actually is a thing that used to be in normal gameplay of the Rework build, However it is only used in 1 room and nowhere else (like the crouch jump), The room is apparently still in the files so people who played the Rework build might have known you can uppercut a bomb.
When there’s literally an entire tutorial in a level, you know it’s gonna be unfair.

I love how you get a tutorial for the bombs.
The level is one of the best uses of bombs in this game I’ve seen just due to the fact that you actually need to use them in unique ways.
and Noise's bomb mechanics boil down to just "touch rat and bomb goes boom"

I mean, it’s the Noise. If that gremlin eats the rockets, weaponises the Hamcuffs (those pig cop enemies which hold Peppino in place) and denies Fake Peppino the right to claim he caught him during the 3rd Phase chase, then he deserves the right to turn off his neurons for a while.

First thing going through my head when I saw the precise booster jumps lmao. I thought mastering those jumps in Peppinot was an accomplishment, cannot wait to get my multibinds set up and begin practicing these B-Sides!
Stage 1: Peppino taunts me, letting me "control" him despite him knowing well that he is the one in control, and I am but a spectator in his game.
Stage 2: Peppino laughs at me, thinking I can achieve anything.
Stage 3: I am pepino.
Stage 4: Oh shit did I just bounce?
Stage 5: This level isn't THAT bad.

if the guy who makes this levels is willing to do reworks of every level in the game then i can't wait for shit like peppibot factory, don't make a sound or WAR, those levels would be super challenging when needing to implent tech like this in every single part of the level

Unwarranted Pacifism: Defeat as few Stupid Rats as possible in B-Side Ancient Cheese
Dance of Dashpads: Get through the first three rooms of the escape (including the Pillar room) in B-Side Ancient Cheese without getting hit
Do-no-Do-overs: Never use a single Reset door in B-Side Ancient Cheese
Most of these levels are impossible to do as The Noise 😞
This honestly looks easier than I expected (like pizzascape but longer)..it might be because it's YOU (goat) playing it..but I can see myself P ranking this..with a lot of practice.
Pratice will make it great

@@insertafunnynam3 the B-side thingie mostly comes from celeste B,C, and D sides, D sides are made by fans usually being super hard and long

This is gonna be a stupid question, but are any of these levels at the very least beatable for more casual players? I've been wanting to try them out myself for a little while but they all look so much more complicated to play than anything I've handled in the game before, and it worries me a tad that I might not be able to even beat any of them at all.
Regardless, though, this level looks just as fun and crazy as the last two, and I'm really excited to see what Bloodsauce B-Side is gonna hold.
These levels are meant to cater to speedrunners of the community, but I will make a tutorial b-side level to hopefully make these types of levels more accessible
I am in no way a speedrunner but I found this quite fun... Even tho getting everything (minus lap 2) took an hour lmao
Although you do need to know how to fast fall grab cancel and instaturn at a minimum, high jump is used rarely too
@@yottacat It's actually in the tower files but I'm guessing it isn't in the actual tower-like level because there is no john pillar, right? Also if you ever decide to release that level in the tower finish it by adding some of the tricks you use and add an escape sequence to make it beatable.
@@JohnGutter-nb8tl That tutorial level is unfinished which is why there's no pillar john, and is probably going to be scrapped and replaced by a new tutorial level
