You missed the train old station, at the other end of main avenue. Arriving by train in Aveiro, cross the city center and take the ferry to São Jacinto is quite an experience.

I've loved this video about Aveiro since I'm so close to it, so many things you've covered that just make me go there again and I live just about 30km from there! 😅 But there is one other city I urge you to visit... Coimbra.... wonderful city, in the margins of the Mondego river, has one of the oldest universities in the world, one of our greatest poets Luís Vaz de Camões studied there, and is has an history that goes back to our kings and even the Romans , and Coimbra has great food also 🤭

I really like your videos and I am planning a trip of around 45 days in Portugal and 7 days in Iceland. I was wondering if Geres, Braga, Aveiro and Algarve are worth the detour ? I am travelling for sure to Madeira, Porto, Coimbra, Nazare and Lisbon for sure ! Thank you for your input on it and keep up the good work !
The video was amazing, i'm just impressed how you visited Costa Nova and not Praia da Barra, which is really close. Praia da Barra has the second biggest lightouse of all Europe and it has really beautiful beaches. On top of that, you can even find the best tripas, close to the lighthouse there is an old lady that does tripas the old fashioned way, they are to die for!! Again, the video is incredible but you should visit Praia da Barra next time you're in Aveiro :))
I have visited this beautiful area of 🇵🇹. Absolutely wonderful area. It was sad that the day we were there it was one of their windiest and coldest summer days. The food though in the family owned restaurant was delicious. Hospitality in Portugal is 👌
