Any time I have a chance to recommend either Berserk, or Susumu HIrasawa, I do. I have never heard nor read anything better than either respective things.
Probably because it's not from Berserk at all despite the artwork in the video. It's from Susumu Hirasawa's album "Byakkoya - White Tiger Field" which had two tracks that were used for the movie "Paprika" (the tracks "Byakkoya" and "Parade" I think), I'd recommend checking out the rest of his stuff if you're unfamiliar with the work he's done outside of berserk (Niwashi King is a good one to start with if you're only familiar with his music in berserk).
Amazing. Susume Hirasawa really knows how to convey great music into dark fantasy. So otherworldly and haunting at times but really feels like storytelling in its own right
I've absolutely mad respect for Legend that is Susumu Hirasawa! I'm Glad Miura sensei& Berserk team chose him to give OST to their Anime! One of the Best Mangas of all time needed his energetic compositions & Voice. Even Paprika OST that Hirusawa San did is out of this World!
I loved how this page reassured me that Griffith the tactician still existed inside of Femto. The way he was relying and certain on Skull Knights arrival reminds me of how in the golden age ark he relied and used Guts brashness. Puts a chill down my spine thinking of how he might be using Guts tendancies even now to his own needs. The only way to defeat Griffith is to reject him like guts did in the snow and Rickert did on the bridge. If you let him provoke you you will end up like the kings brother, the queen, advisor Foss, Ganishka, and now the Skull Knight just serving his ultimate ends. Griffith literally has always had fate on his side so to defeat him you must make your own way rejecting your destiny. I order for Guts to win he must again reject Griffith and put aside his quest for revenge and find a way Griffith would never accept. Edit: Griffith says to guts when he claims him that Guts will die when he says he can die. He literally claims power over Guts fate and he commands the band of the hawk to be sacrificed for him choosing their fated deaths as well. You see what I’m saying? Guts is going to have to die… but not when Griffiths tells him to
A translation of the Lyrics, would be great if they were subtitled on the video: All creation rides the MACH ship as it pierces the southward of heart. You saw the endless generations of warnings bloom like a flowering garden, But only continued forward, loudly saying, "Don't turn back!" At the time of departure, in the worn sun you cast off your self. Night is near with the distant, sinking sun bringing forth a cage of shadow to the coastal sand. A wave breaks upon the tranquility of one thousand countries and dreams are suddenly angered as the tsunami bears its fangs. All barriers are broken with a thunderous roar that pierces the weeping conscience. You were with the unending pouring anguish as it was wiped out, But only continued forward, keeping silent, "No cause." Not pardoning memories as if pursing a guiltless person. Now a distant, feeble breath gives an invigorated bellow at an old death. A rainbow paints upon heaven's soil and dreams are suddenly elevated as the tower opens its gates. Calling for tomorrow to the worn sun, floating across time, towards west, towards west. An unknown space conceals dreams of deepest darkness. Looking for tomorrow in the worn sun, floating across time, towards west, towards west. A voice goes on calling for dreams of deepest darkness. Calling for tomorrow to the worn sun, floating across time, towards west, towards west. An unknown space conceals dreams of deepest darkness. All assembled people with voices of exaltation pierce the suppressed voice. This moment in Berserk was absolutely shocking. Like the man just spawned behind Femto with that menacing sword. Idk tho if Skull Knight was expecting to fail and was aiming for the astral world to emerge with the physical world from the very beginning or he just really f*cked it up and fail miserably. Knowing that Skull Knight can somehow know the future to some extent... I'd say that he knew.

2:59 💪💀👑 Even when he don't meant, the music still fits perfectly! Such great composer!
This is so underrated.

Good man
The nicest sounding version in youtube
How have I never heard this one before? This is too good
Probably because it's not from Berserk at all despite the artwork in the video.

So otherworldly and haunting at times but really feels like storytelling in its own right
I feel like if there was ever an adaptation, this song would be the opening to conviction arc.
The beat is fire
This can be put as Berserk anime's Millenium arc's Ending song, if we ever get any. Fits so well.
Just started reading Berserk a few days ago, and listening to this while reading chapter "Campfire of Dreams" was fitting perfectly
You bet your behelit im playing this for the new chapters of Berserk returning
so howd that go
@@theinternetwizard4656 pretty good
This is supposedly not made for berserk, But it still sounds like if it was made for berserk
This should skull knight's theme if they ever make a new Berserk anime.
Just finished reading volume 34 with this song in background. Wow
I want this played at my funeral
Guts is going to have to die… but not when Griffiths tells him to
Well Put
holy shit

A translation of the Lyrics, would be great if they were subtitled on the video:
All creation rides the MACH ship as it pierces the southward of heart.
You saw the endless generations of warnings bloom like a flowering garden,
But only continued forward, loudly saying, "Don't turn back!"
At the time of departure, in the worn sun you cast off your self.
You were with the unending pouring anguish as it was wiped out,
But only continued forward, keeping silent, "No cause."
Not pardoning memories as if pursing a guiltless person.
Unconcerned like fallen lilies rotting, you look to no one,
"Trust in daybreak" and continue on, MACH ship's thunderous roar.
At the time of departure, in the worn sun you cast off your self.
Night is near with the distant, sinking sun bringing forth a cage of shadow to the coastal sand.

never even heard of this song until now, i like it
This song is so legendary.
Rare gem I have missed by being a pleb. Better buy all of his albums
If all you do is buy his albums you are missing most of the experience. You need all the live performances too. He changes most of his songs every time he performs them live. Many times the live performance is superior to the studio version.
This track has nothing to do with Berserk, but it wouldn't be out of place if it were in it.

Miura might be my favorite artist ever atp
anybody else listen to Susumu Hirasawa when they work out shit hits different
2:59 This finna play in my Dragon Ball fan fiction when Hirudegarn rears her ugly head for the final time. I felt particularly inspired for the Konats storyline and intend to use more than one track from Hirasawa to sell the dark fantasy undertones.
they have to use this song in an eventual adaptation
now where's the Eastward of time!!!
I remember Rickert Slap and This panel Made me Jump out of my Seat 😁
will i ever get to see the lyrics of this masterpiece?
Im going to listen to this while i read that chapter in the image
This moment in Berserk was absolutely shocking.
Like the man just spawned behind Femto with that menacing sword.
Idk tho if Skull Knight was expecting to fail and was aiming for the astral world to emerge with the physical world from the very beginning or he just really f*cked it up and fail miserably.
Knowing that Skull Knight can somehow know the future to some extent... I'd say that he knew.
Tis is amazing masterpiece right here
Berserk is back!
Ready for 1m+ views 🎉🎉
3:57 sounds like the eldenbeast theme from EldenRing its crazy how much inspiration from software took from berserk
1. Sounds like common chords used everywhere
2. The song has nothing to do with 'Berserk'
Here after 369. The struggle continues.

*Jikan No Seihou* - *O Oeste do Tempo*

Is it just me or does this have an odly similar composition to an EDM track
Definitely Skull Knight's theme.
Jesus makes a cameo on Skull Knight's shin armor.
A quite fine song for an adaptation as shiva from ganishka gets turned into the world tree and the astra world beckons and it's shown how the astral world merging with the physical world pushes humanity to falconia
This back
It has that dark academia vibe into it.

Susumu finally put the 1997 Berserk ost into Apple Music but where is the rest
Where’s forces
Where’s this
Same for Spotify
The 1997 OST is owned by a different record company much like FORCES, which is why we have the 1997 OST on Spotify but without FORCES. And its possible we will never get this one on Spotify because Hirasawa has some issue with music distribution and is not into the idea of putting all of his music on online services.
