12:56 I actually heard of this one. It’s not her being dumb, the reason she’s doing that is because the anti-abortion laws basically classify unborn babies as a living person hence why people think you shouldn’t be allowed to “kill” them. So by that logic any pregnant woman absolutely has a right to use an hov lane since there technically are two people in the car.
She’s essentially trying to force the courts to either legally classify the baby as another human or not in order to poke holes in the anti-abortion laws. Because of the baby isn’t classified as a person in one legal case, then it shouldn’t be classified as a person in any legal case.
yes, thank you for the comment. she does not belong in this video lol

It is actually disheartening the amount of people that don’t know the difference between scientific theory and the colloquial use of theory.🤦♀️
and besides
the scientific theories of gravity don’t discuss if it exists or not
it discuses how gravity works
Yeah like that’s middle school knowledge
“It’s not gravity, gravity doesn’t exist; it’s density and buoyancy!!1!11!1!1”
Um, you need to calculate the force of gravity to get buoyancy.
Someone needs to sit down with the gravity-deniers and get them to realize that, yes, things rise and fall because of difference in density aka buoyancy, but it's gravity that defines which direction is rising and which is falling.

No, that is the minimum living wage, not the minimum wage. London is expensive. The minimum wage is £9 something. Living wage per city is calculated based on prices. So that place is doing a damn good thing.
Was looking for a comment just like this!
Exactly what I was thinking!
I honestly don't understand why anyone would want their politicians to decide their wages. Let it be up to the workers and the places they work, or put in other words, worker unions vs. companies. The companies will fold eventually, as they bleed money when no one are there to do the work, while the employees have plenty of time to go look for better work elsewhere and are usually financially supported by the union while on strike or out of a job (if the country has a history of using unions to decide wages that is. Like Scandinavia has). But that may just be because I'm a Dane
I'm going to be that guy.
The minimum wage is 0. What you are describing is the minimum legal wage.
@@juanausensi499 if you wanna be that guy then I’ll do it to you, pedantry is fun ^^
that’s not a wage, that’s the lack of a wage.
The National Minimum Wage in the UK is £9.50. The London Living Wage of £11.05 is calculated independently of government, is based on the extra cost of living in the Capital and is VOLUNTARY. So, they're actually a good employer.
Just for the science correspondants out there, because something is called a scientific "Theory" doesn't mean it has not been proven to be true. A "Theory" is "a well-substantiated explanation of an aspect of the natural world that can incorporate laws, hypotheses *and facts*." (Google). So if someone says "gravity is only a theory" you can be certain they don''t know what they are talking about and save yourself the trouble of listening to anything they have to say after that.
Exactly. “Theory” in science is the highest level to which an idea can be elevated, it means that (with our current evidence) there is no better explanation
I was gonna say that too
Yep. I think of it like...on Mythbusters, when the myth is that something *happened*, it's either confirmed or busted. When the myth is that something *could* happen, they can't confirm that it has, only that it's possible, so rather than confirmed, they use the term plausible. A theory doesn't mean "This is how it is, period." It means, "This is how we believe it works, to the best of our understanding, with the info we have available at this time"

The health insurance thing - I'm going through that now. I need specific surgery. Two other doctors agree wholeheartedly that I need this Surgery. Insurance doesn't want to pay because I'm "too young" (by thier standards) to need said surgery. My doctors & I are appealing this decision, which means it we had to make a case stating that I REALLY need this surgery. Now, have to wait till Aug. 5, 2022 to see if we win the appeal & I get my much needed surgery. Till then, I must suffer & work. Insurances are @$$holes to make people suffer like this.
America: your rights as a human are worth less than my need for money.
I hope that decision gets appealed, for you sake. And I hope this macarthyism "communism" bs the people yell about free healthcare dies down enough that we can get something closer to it so this doesn't happen

Insurance is so stupid. I have to call up and get an insurance referral for every appointment I have with my gastroenterologist. I have ulcerative colitis. Pretty sure he's important for that lmao. 14:45 Come on, Robin, it's a well-known fact that at a traditional Floridian wedding, the groom must wrestle an alligator for the bride's hand in marriage. If he loses, she must marry the gator. Mexico has it backwards.
The wage one is pretty funny, my work described the wage rises as 'fantastic new wages', despite the fact the sales assistants get the national minimum wage.
Not sure if the Brits have a different system but minimum wage is law, "living wage" is more of an activist/marketing term.
So paying a "living wage" isnt a legal requirement, and may still not be enough to actually live in the city the job is located in, or even commute to it.
Well, they were 'fantastic new wages' for them, not for the workers.

The odds one with "rare" being more common than "common" actually (kinda) makes sense because it is probably a higher level (more expensive) lootbox with higher chances of better items. Thats both very obvious and very common
Does that mean the epic one has a lesser chance of granting better items than the common one since it was at 20%?
@@pingel8105 it means that there is probably a cheaper variant that's like, maybe, common 60%, rare 30%, epic 10%, or something, and maybe a more expensive one that has a higher chance of an epic
It could also be that in higher rarities, there are more possible outcomes, meaning that even though the chance of getting that rarity is higher, the items within are much lower chance
I've seen lootbox-like mechanics that gradually diminish the odds of lesser loot in favor of greater loot with better boxes. Sometimes, I've seen cases where at least one high-tier item is guaranteed in each box (e.g., normal boxes always having at least one Rare and ancient ones always having at least one Legendary).

4:18 The thing about gravity is it affects all mass equally; the more mass, the more gets pulled.
Density is a property of all objects, as is mass. A lower density object will rise faster in a medium. A denser object falls faster (through a medium). So you can still explain apparent weight and motion through density but you can't explain the direction, why denser objects sink down rather than sideways or up. Up and down as concepts only apply with a reference point, which for us is created by the center of mass of the gravitational field
@@KNR90 Exactly

I'm probably stupid, but that fact about blind people was genuinely interesting to me. The 3D/2D thing just isn't something I had considered until then.
To be fair, perspective wasn’t discovered for a long time so the 3D/2D thing doesn’t just apply to blind people
@@therealoatmeal4642 Idk what you mean. Even if people didn't always use vanishing points, cave drawings were in 2d. And even back then, blind people could have felt the shape of the paint but couldn't have equated it to the silhouette of a 3d animal, much less drawn it to represent an animal they interacted with
Well, I guess it depends on what type of blindness it is. For example, there are people who are blind, but can see basic forms that are near enough or, on the contrary, far enough (kinda like an extremely bad case of myopia). These people will usually depend on touch to percieve details. That's what I think OP wanted to say. They can draw(in the way sighted people do), because they are not totally blind, but the details they perceived through touch I imagine would be difficult to translate. That's why blind artists tend to use 3D mediums, like sculpture.
