I honestly try to keep a mind open. I think George did really well in asking questions, which is good for him. But Biden did nothing to ease my concerns: "No, no one said I had to" when asked if he had had a neurological examination? Come on, man! Have an independent medical examination by an independent, reliable medical expert and release the results. People think Biden has dementia, and if he doesn't then it should be easy to prove this medically, no?
His physician, who is with him daily, is able to discern if something needs addressed. If the physician thought that something needed additional attention/testing, then he/she would've advised him and ordered those tests. In the interview, Stephanopoulos did remark about what the physician shared which means that the President gave him authorization. Despite what a lot of people think, we aren't entitled to look at his medical records. We don't have that kind of clearance or approval. HIPAA. Even so, the fact that the President shared access to that information with Stephanopoulos was both transparent and a vulnerability that was genuinely intended to alleviate anyone's concerns. If it doesn't, that's unfortunate... but, at least he tried. I think it's important to remember that Vice President Kamala Harris was elected by the people so that, if there becomes a need, she is fully qualified to step into the role. At this time, there's no need of it. I do believe some people are blowing this way out of proportion and it serves as a distraction when there are bigger fish to fry but, if you think the physician is inept, there are venues available to address that. Grateful for your feedback and decency, it's not something I've seen a lot of lately. Best wishes.

It is customary for presidential candidates to release medical and tax records by their own volition because they aren't entitled to the trust of the public. Trump never released his tax returns, and this was seen as if he had something to hide. If Biden wants to ease people's concerns, he would go far and beyond what a normal candidate would go through. The only reason he doesn't do a neurological test conducted independently and made public is because he knows he would fail it. I hear him talking about democracy being on the ballot, and I cannot but assume he doesn't mean it. If he did, he either wouldn't run again because the polls indicate that most Americans don't believe he's up to the job or would absolutely take the test as suggested. It is this simple. If he loses it will be because he either wasn't up to the job or didn't do enough to let people know he could do the job. Like you said, "that's unfortunate" when he loses.
