At NAMM 2024, we got to sit in (and experience) the SOLODOME XL "egg chair" which is a self contained music system. There are speakers all around it and a subwoofer below the seat. You wouldn't expect it to sound good, but this chair rocks!
Sound comes from all directions -- even places you wouldn't expect and doesn't require Dolby Atmos spatial audio to create such effects.

We spoke with Keith Crutchfield, Solodome's Co-founder for a first look at this innovative piece of furniture and audio. There are three different sized models priced at $6,999 (XL), $4,999 (regular) and $2,500 (kids). They're available in black or white, but custom colors and interior lining can be ordered for additional costs.
Just connect via Bluetooth or 3.5mm wired input to other audio sources including gaming consoles, laptops/PCs, smartphones, and more.
