    Congrats. You should do video removing the six 10mm screws from inlet pipe and showing what's under that plastic cover. Will get a lot of views. The world wants to see.

    Sooo nice, I wrote my fk8 off in July. Missing it everyday since. Got an Si on order but it just won’t fill the void. Looking for an R soon!
    Congratulations on the beautiful car.

      Arigato!
      Thank you for your nice comment. The person in charge of development said that this FL5 is the culmination of a pure internal combustion engine. If you like the Type R, please take a test drive and check it out.

      What’s the cost to maintain a type R? Is it similar to a regular civic or much more expensive?

      @@Mustang46liters Very similar to a regular civic, oil changes are around $60, I believe transmission oil changes are a bit more pricey but not by much. Tires are probably the only thing that cost more. You can go cheaper and find a bargain but you will lose traction and it’s not fun to spin. Also if you’re heavy on the acceleration you will go through tires faster. Especially if you buy cheaper ones since they don’t grip as well. Aside from that you use a bit more gas but it’s not much. I averaged around 9.1L/100km. You can convert that on google for Miles/gallon. Also depending on the type of person you are you might want to baby it so oil changes transmission/engine might happen more frequently. If you live in colder climates you will need spare set of rims and tires for winter.
      Aside from that it’s hard to stay stock! Especially if you buy a mod, you’ll soon find yourself buying more. Haha.
      All in all it’s not bad at all man, I hope you get one! It’s thee most fun you will have any where near that price range.

      @@TheWetCanadian Wow, congratulations! And red, cool! In Japan, many dealers have finally stopped taking orders.
      Good for you for buying one!

    How is the ride quality in comfort mode on bumpy roads?

    • @FL5ch.Type.R
      @FL5ch.Type.R  2 роки тому +3

      It will shake on bad roads, but I think it's acceptable if you run in comfort mode.
      As you know, the suspension is a two-axis strut at the front and a multi-link at the rear. There is some pushing up on rough roads, but it settles down quickly because the body rigidity is high.

      Active Sound Control can be customized with INDIVIDUAL engine sounds. If you change to Comfort, it will be turned off.
