Kim Jain climbs in a very energy efficient way (Mechanically advantageous, minimal adjustments, maxmisies static reach to avoid dynamic movements) & prefers to go slow-paced and rest whenever comfortable. Learning from her climbing thru these past comp vids!
This time limitations are just atrocious. They should be given at least 10 minutes and if several climbers can top it, the one with the shortest time will win. She would have topped it if she were given more time.
I think its to avoid climbers trying to find places to rest, imagine if they do with unlimited time, some would easily spend 5minutes waiting at some random place just to get the pump out, I would be boring to watch and very unbalanced, but at the same time yeah I think it can definitely be a bummer sometimes even if I like watching climbers go fast
