22:36 Your linear exposure adjustment isn’t going to be correct because you told Resolve that your Timeline Color Space is Rec709 Gamma 2.4 but you are actually in Arri LogC3 at that point (since you were working before the CST that brings you into Rec709). When you change your gamma to Linear at a node level Resolve is doing : *Timeline Color Space* -> *Linear* -> “Whatever adjustments you wanna do” -> *Timeline Color Space*
So are you recommending that we need to change our Color Space as well in the individual node to reflect the actual color space of the clip we are grading? We change to Linear but ALSO need to change color space as well? Will look into that and see how those results look. I assumed since we were mainly working on exposure adjustments, Linear should be the only adjustment we need.
I found this super helpful, thank you guys! It’s nice going back to basics and getting more techniques on how to dial in difficult footage. Over time it’s easy to forget things that you didn’t have much practice with, so this is awesome. I love the curve correction concept. Never knew that one.
