I chose to support Hamilton beacuse in 2019, I was bored so I went in my dad's bedroom where he watched F1. I was bored so I stayed besides him and watch the race, even if I didn't understand much. At that time Bottas was still at Mercedes and my father was supporting him so I wanted to chose the opposite, and that's how I started to support Hamilton. I mean at first I just supported him for that reason but after I really start to like him

Merc's cool, but if you're still struggling... everyone's a Ferrari fan deep in their heart. Even if they support other teams/drivers, it's Ferrari come on?! haha

would be great if you come with more videos on this subject, can be very helpful to many newcomers to the sport I agree. I loved Andretti and Hunt back in the days, but then life took me to other interests, until mid 2021... the considerations you provide here are quite realistic and recognisable for many. I suppose it can also even apply to the anti-fans, in terms of disliking the one because one likes the other (the rival). what makes the clock tick! Through observation and putting questions to oneself, it usually leads to a good answer. I feel very supportive towards a number of present drivers. It certainly keeps me hooked to F1 even more

I’m sure it’s a bit different to Andretti and Hunt’s era? I see pictures and read stories of James Hunt, he seems like he was a really interesting character to have in the sport! Not as politically correct as what we have nowadays
What other drivers do you support? My number 1 is Alonso, but I always like to support some underdogs in the field also. I like to see Hass doing well, Nico Hulkenburg

@@andychatsf1 the old times were a totally different experience for me tbh. There was very little F1 on tv overall, just stuff in news papers, and I simply loved being seated at the start and feel the vibes of all those cars going through me. I was young and had no idea about what it really was all about, I admit. Different now. I'm learning and gradually understanding more and more and I love that plus I have the time for it now. I just need some F1 stuff every day or I'll go mad haha. Ah yes you said your nr 1 is Alonso. I certainly have him on my list too. Also the McLaren boys, love their teaming up so much. I love watching Albon do well, I do root for Charles Leclerc and find Yuki also enjoyable

@@andychatsf1 the perks of getting old eh? similar experiences with the world of top tennis.. having seen and met the greats like ao McEnroe, Lendl, Wilander, Edberg etc.. A shame never Federer and Nadal, but one cannot have it all haha. Looking forward to your Zandvoort analysis. Just imagine, 1.5 mln ticket applications!! Those who couldn't get a ticket for 2023 will be given preference for 2024 and 2025... so, I can forget about that too haha

This is random but what teams is like not so "cool" and whats "cool" to. Like whats a team and a driver that everbody is chill, i dont want any "eeew do you support *that team**"

McLaren has the history, but Aston Martin are investing a lot into their project.
