To remove the impurities of my heart I need Jesus help and his presence in my life to have a pure heart. All the impurities like anger, frustration, bitterness, hatred, envy, impure thoughts, all negativity. All of them have to go. So I can be the woman that God created me to be.

""You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men." - Matthew 5:13 NKJV

03-04-2024, salt is only way to avoid being contaminated by sinful nature of the flesh ,so that we as Christians must oblige and apply our salt so that others do not sin .David pastor I want to thank you ,may GOD BLESS YOUR MINISTRY, IN ABUNDANCE

Speaking of Culture, it reminds me of a time when the culture was much more in tune with God and godliness - (1965) song from Jackie DeShannon * What the World Needs Now * is LOVE sweet LOVE, so yes work and move in the compassion of Jesus, share your salt, shine your light.

key point: Don't Lose Your Saltiness - it is like losing your position in baseball, a loss of mission and purpose, regulated to being useless on the shelf or bench. If we are to be effective, we cannot compromise and live as those do in the culture

those impurities that David is speaking of here, include your life, my life, and his life, if there is compromising sin or more sin than salt or light, then how would we expect to be effective? Our salt should be refined in Christ, and pure, full strength.
