RULES:
The object of the game is to be the first player to collect 3 different property sets. Give each player a reference card and return any extra to the box. Shuffle the rest of the cards and deal 5 to each player, then place the remainder facedown in the middle as a draw pile. Players look at their cards but keep them hidden from others. The youngest player goes first, then play proceeds clockwise. On your turn draw 2 cards from the top of the draw pile and add them to your hand. If ever you start your turn with zero cards, then draw 5 cards instead.
After drawing, you may play up to 3 cards from your hand. You may choose to play none. There are 3 ways to play cards, once you play a card, you may not add it back to your hand. 1st, you can play action or money cards to your bank by placing them faceup in a single pile. All cards in your bank are worth money. Action cards there are worth the value in their top left, ignoring the text on the rest of the card.
2nd. You can add a property to your collection by placing it faceup in front of you, separate from your bank, organized by color. There is no limit to the number of properties you can have in front of you.
3rd. you can play an action card to the discard pile and perform the action on the card. Houses and Hotel action cards don’t go to the discard but instead are placed on property sets. You may not play actions from your bank.
At the end of your turn, if you have more than 7 cards in your hand, then you must discard down to 7, ignoring any actions cards you discarded. If you need to pay another player, you may give them money from your bank or give them properties from your collection based on the value of the property in their top left. Money and action cards go to that player’s bank and properties go to their collection. Properties never go to any player’s bank and you never pay with cards from your hand. You get to decide how you want to pay, not the player you are paying. If you don’t have enough money in your bank, then you must pay with properties. There is no change in this game, so you may have to pay someone more than you owe if that is all you have. If you don’t have enough money and properties to pay someone, then pay what you have. If you have nothing, then pay nothing.
Wild property cards may be only rearranged in sets in front of you on your turn. When you do this, it does not count as playing a card. Wilds may not go to your bank, and the rainbow wild property cannot be used as money. You may not have a complete set made up entirely of wilds, and you may not have a wild in a set if it exceeds that set’s limit, but you could use them to start a new set in the same color.
When you collect rent and have multiple properties in the same color, the value of all the combined properties is listed on each card. You collect the total amount once, not once per each property set. “Double the rent” must be played together with a rent card and it counts as 1 of the 3 cards you may play for the turn. Playing 2 double the rent cards would result in quadrupling the rent. You may only play houses and hotels on complete property sets except for railroads and utilities. If the set ever become incomplete, discard them. When you use them to pay another player, they go to their bank instead of a property set. A property set may only have 1 house and 1 hotel.
“Just say no”, can be played on another player’s turn and only affects you. So if collect rent is played, and you “just say no”, then you wouldn’t pay but all the other players would. “Just say no” can affect another “just say no” card. Playing a “just say no” on your turn counts as one of your 3 cards.
The first player to collect 3 complete sets of different colors, wins!
It literally picked up Monopoly Deal today, and was wondering if you had a video on the game, and here you go and upload it just for me. Thanks!
THOSE. CARDS. LOOK. BEAUTIFUL.
Same opinion. look MUCH cleaner then the last refresh.
Agree ❤
That. Never. Gets. Old.
They are thinner which I don’t like
@@leglistux20Only issue I guess
New rules/Rules I might have not known about:
You can't make a complete set entirely out of wild property cards.
A complete set with buildings can become an incomplete set in which case the buildings are sent to the discard pile.
Playing Just Say No on your turn counts as one of your three actions.
all wrong...
I have the 2017 edition of MONOPOLY Deal, though the 2024 edition looks amazing.
same here!
I take it there is no limit to "Just Say No" cards that can be played in one turn. My opponent once played a "Deal Breaker" card and I played a "Just Say No". Then they played another "Deal Breaker" card and then I played another "Just Say No'. My opponent didn't think I could do that, but we couldn't find a rule against it.
You can use it as many times you need!
Never have I ever want to buy Monopoly Deal despite already had one.
Honestly these new cards suck. Too thin, gotta love “shrinkflation”
3:08 What? I assumed playing a Rent card and following it with Double The Rent counts as two separate cards.
me too
I think it does
Pretty sure that’s what he said though the wording was confusing. Playing double the rent counts as one of your three cards played so the rent card itself would be another one of the three
That confused me as well. I came here for clarification.
So basically it's exactly the same as the older version.
i cant seem to find the one video about a dice game for 2 players, both players getting a bunch of dice coloured green and yellow.
can anyone help find it please?
Monopoly Deal Money Colors Comparison (2017 vs 2024)
2017 version:
$1 = White
$2 = Orange
$3 = Green
$4 = Blue
$5 = Purple
$10 = Red
2024 version (this video):
$1 = White
$2 = Red
$3 = Blue
$4 = Green
$5 = Purple
$10 = Orange
I also have the 2008 and 2017 versions. I just bought the 2024 around 6 USD VAT included.
The previous versions always stated at least one original property to complete a full set with wilds.
Erroneously there was an error in one Wild Rent Card (pick one player) that included all. I didn't notice that until watching a video and reviewing on a blog. We also used Just Say No as a communitarian card but then stopped it.
I need all the masters here to enlight me with this problem.
Can a "property wild card" switch place for red property to blue property after already being placed in the red property?
Red property and Blue property is just and example.
And this switch place mention in the video doesn't count as one out of three move right?
2:46
a Wild switch doesn't count as playing a card, but one can do it only on their turn
@@tranmanhuc6235 thank you master shifu
This design of these cards are the new one?
Yes
@@Tegarcs142Thabk you, i liked a lot, i'm triying to search it on ebay.
confused about the rent, can we stack the rent card and charge more later or after a player pays you the rent they own the you discard that rent card?
Where does it say you can’t have a complete set of Wild Property? I’ve never heard of or seen that rule anywhere before? 2:36
@@cjdraganovsky the manual of this version has that rule... i think so does that of the 2017 one
Could you play more than one action card on your turn, provided you don’t play any other cards?
What happens if you paid via properties and(with a wild in there). You paid the properties, what should you do with the Wild card in front of you ?
Wondering also what will happen on wild cards
@@dalendan I think it just stays in front of you. check ChirpingMermaid how to play. It's really good
@@mr.knockknock3705 Wilds can be placed on their own or moved to another incomplete colour set on your turn
In the original Monopoly Deal.
3 players. A B and C.
A plays a Rent card.
B plays a Just say No card
C plays a Just say No card
Does C card cancels B's Just say no card or A's Rent Card?
Just say no’s only work when you’re the person being targeted by the action. Since the other players just say no is a response to the person who played the rent card and not you, it means that your own just say no only works in the rent card.
Like he said you can only play a "Just say No" on actions against yourself.
So B doesn't have to pay rent, and then C doesn't have to pay rent.
Thanks to TripleGames i got these new cards today 😊❤
I need help. I can't find the answer anywhere. If you play a properly swap. Can you steal a wild if it's on of the properties? Like if someone has new york and a wild, so only two to a set. Can you steal the wild? Thank you in advance. 👍
You can steal the wild, unless it is in a complete set, then you cannot steal a card from it.
so can you use a 2 color wild property such as the blue/green one on the blue side, with a multicolored wild property to make a set?
@@KidLeo799 yes you can, but there must be at least one non-Wild property in the set
I like this video. There are many clarifications. And I like this game very much. It's my favorite version of Monopoly.
You plan on showing Monopoly Millionaire Deal or do you not have that one yet? The rules are the same as regular Monopoly Deal except for a change in how the player wins.

Hasbro and Mattel partnership? Nah hasbro has a monopoly deal since 2010. Then to 2015, and today
@@LoveKirbythecutepinkball idk abt that
It becomes confusing 😂
Forgive me if these rule clarifications are included in the manual. But if they aren’t, i fundamentally disagree with many of your rule choices.
First and foremost is the Just Say No on a communal rent card.
The text on the Just Say No card says “cancel an action card played against you.” This can be broken up into two sections.
“Played against you” - you can’t Just Say No an action you’re not involved in. Like someone else’s Deal Breaker, or even someone playing a Pass Go ‘on themselves’
If the card is played against you, and you play the Just Say No, then you can…
“Cancel an action card” - completely nullify an action card. Meaning, if it’s a communal card (rent or birthday), it’s completely canceled.
This is the right way to play in my opinion as this exact text has been present since the 2017 version. Interestingly, this is less clear on the older versions- play those however you want.
Isn't there Turkish subtitles?

I get it, you have ran out of video ideas so you just add 2024 version for absolutely no reason at all, it’s not a new game, you’ve already made a video about this game and others too, you just add 2024 version, in like 2 years it’ll be 2026 version and so on.
I'm guessing Hasbro has released new versions of some of their games. Even if the rules are exactly the same, it works better to have a video where the pieces match what's currently on store shelves.
@@jardex2275
Yeah, fair enough
It’s a new design and I think minor rule updates
