  • Welcome to Garage Denali! In this video, I review a 2013 Subaru Outback and go over some of its features. This generation of the Subaru Outback was introduced in 2009 and production lasted until 2014, making this the 4th generation of the vehicle.

Thank you! This video was key in me purchasing a 2012 3.6R Limited @98k miles a few weeks ago. I have no regrets thus far, it's much quicker than I anticipated.

Mine is a 2010, Limited, 11 years old and for the first time I did a "mayor" repair (Valve cover gaskets, new camshaft sensor and a full tune up) I did it on my local mechanic so my total cost for all that was 900 dollars. less than a $1,000 in eleven years.

Nice car! Mine is a 2012 Subaru Outback limited 2.5i with navigation. I really like it so far and I've reached 92,000 miles with not that many issues, just oilchanges.I bought it at 87,000 so I've added a few more but it's been very reliable (knock on wood). I love the car and the navigation despite being old the system is very easy to use and everything is properly placed. The other car I was considering buying is a 2010 Lexus rx350 since it has more tech-like features such as a power tailgate and more comfortable leather seats I found. Plus the price for one with something like 85,000 miles like mine is only a few grand more but you get so many more features. Some even have heated and ventilated seats! That being said, I am extremely pleased with my fourth gen Outback and would maybe buy a newer one but I think I would also consider a 2010 RX with more luxury at a similar price point

2.5 is fine. I load up the car and tow a small boat, no problem.

4:25 "And...when you consider the running costs of this car, being one of the lowest brands of ownership over a 5 year period, what's not to like about this car?" Wait..what did you just say?!! I don't understand your statements. Might be a product of trying to concentrate on the road while you talk, but it's major fluff and blather. Just show us the car's features, give us your impressions and stick to the facts. We appreciate facts and opinions when presented in an organized fashion. And, if you're going to demonstrate cargo space by using your own body size, it would be immensely helpful for you to state your size while doing so, not just a dramatic hand wave to show a few inches of clearance above you. You look pretty petite for a guy (5'7 145 lbs would be my guess). That's below average for men, so using yourself as the gauge isn't helpful for someone 6'3" 180+ lbs. Tighten it up Denali.
