Not quite, this was actually a very good movie. I wasn't sure at first, as it does sound like the punisher, but it is different enough to not be a bootleg punisher lol. Just a fathers revenge, he wasn't military or a tough guy prior, just smart , and mad asf.
the script is the actors actually acting .... tellling a story with actions ...

They seem to use this formula a lot. Death Sentence. Peppermint. The Exterminator. Etc.
All the money goes to special effects, instead of script writing.
As soon as any action movie opens up with a happy family scene and an impossibly sweet interaction between the main character and their child, you just know that the kids time onscreen is measured in seconds

Because this formula gets forgotten. The world likes to say "Men bad, female good" but who gets his game up to bring justice when the system fails to protect the kids and family. Who runs off to hide and forget the family, who stays and finishes the job despite the pain?

"Shooting wild" did you not see the part where he went on in a shooting range to learn how to aim properly ending up becoming a marksman unlike the gang who's aim is comparable to stormtroopers.

He was obsessed with revenge and on a dangerous path, she wanted to move on from it he didnt. The main protagonist not speaking was a nice idea but it should NOT have been a restriction placed on the surrounding cast. It gave off the idea people were all supposed to be mutes or deaf. Neat idea but doesn't work in the movies favor since we know only the main guy is mute and not deaf.
This is basically a remake of Kevin bacon and the movie death sentence
