I definitely would listen to your doctor, but I do feel led to share my story. We had three babies, and thought we were done but felt the desire for a fourth. I would count my kids at the park, and count to 4 mistakenly. I would set out 4 plates for my kids and then realize I only had three. The desire grew for both me and my husband so we started trying for a fourth. It took quite a while, maybe 8 months (I got pregnant easier with my 3 boys) and then I found out we were expecting! We were excited! The kids were thrilled. We told family and close friends. And then a week and a half later, I started bleeding and miscarried. We were devastated, especially my oldest who was around 8 at the time. I listened to the doctor when they said wait a full cycle to start again.
4 months later we were pregnant again! However I kept testing at home and the second line started getting lighter, so I wasn’t surprised when I started bleeding again. This time I didn’t feel the need to go to the doctor, being such an early miscarriage, and I decided not to wait to try. We of course waited until I stopped bleeding, but then we tried right away and got pregnant with our one and only daughter. It was a scary pregnancy, but the lines kept getting stronger and my levels went up, and she’s now 6 years old :) I have read several people’s story online about getting pregnant the month after a miscarriage and carrying that pregnancy to term. I’m not saying that would have happened with you, and I pray pray pray you don’t have any more losses, I sincerely hope you don’t, but if that were to happen, an early loss, maybe look into trying the month afterwards. It makes me wonder if those lingering hormones is what helped my daughter stay with us. I mourn her siblings but I also feel that it was because of them that she is here with us. I just felt led to share our story :) and her three brothers adore her, when she isn’t bugging them, lol.
I’m pretty sure I’ve heard it’s something to do with the previous child’s (who miscarried) stem cells being left behind and those cells are supportive to the new life ❤️❤️
That makes sense. Once I read how effective not waiting was for others, I decided not to wait a full cycle and we started trying when the miscarriage was complete. It was a very early miscarriage the second time, I think I bled a few days after a positive test, I'm sure it would be more complicated having a miscarriage further along. I'm so grateful for my rainbow baby and still mourn the two we lost. @@gabiklw
