Yes A muff! Just what your coat needed. How about a little zippered pocket inside the muff for a handkerchief or a little coin purse or glasses or a phone?
I love the muff! I made mine years ago and use it every winter! Love it! I’m so sorry to see your Tinkerbell has passed. She had the best life and was loved much, I have no doubts. Thank you for sharing with us. I always enjoy your makes.
I just discovered you as I’m trying to make a muff as a part of my costume as part of a TV series that just got picked up by Amazon Prime: Union House Hotel (7 episodes in the first season. Streaming services wanted to wait until all the episodes were filmed (August ‘24) but Prime noticed we were taking home so many awards at film festivals worldwide since it’s launch in January they that Prime decided to pick it up at the beginning of February! We are a small independent production company with 100% volunteers and all local talent from WI. It takes place in the 1890’s so we either make our costumes if we’re skilled enough, thrift, or buy. I’m drooling over your stunning coat right now as it’s absolutely gorgeous! I love love love your thread tree! Did you make it? Do you keep it covered? What a brilliant idea! You probably addressed this a million times so forgive me as I trip over myself repeatedly here for just discovering you for a muff and so much more!!! My goodness gracious the talent in these two items. I’m not that great of a sewer and my machine is always giving me fits of some kind I really really do need a new one mines 35 years old andi put it off because they’re so complicated now. I have a brain injury and when I use a craft supply I haven’t used in a while it’s as if I’m using it for the first time. I have to relearn, sometimes a spark ignites a memory depending when I last used it. So getting overwhelmed every time I need to sew something doesn’t excite me. I know when I bought my last one they had classes on how to use the machine you bought. I don’t live there anymore. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good machine? I did inherit a long arm quilting machine (haven’t used it in the 3 years I’ve had it) and I’ve done both regular and hand quilts in the past, make and repair clothing, and various crafts as well.
I love muffs - and course it goes perfectly with the coat (they're made for each other!) But I'm sorry that Tinkerbell has died. 13 years gone all too quickly - but I'm glad she got to enjoy her bucolic life. :-)
Yes, a muff is exactly what your coat needs to go with it. I wondered about using the flannel instead of the blue fabric, but maybe the blue will be warm, too. The blue is very pretty though.
Congratulations on your 100th video! Thank you for taking the time to make this video. I appreciate the way you drew out your strategy and give clear directions!
Marie I love ❤️ that muff. Every girl should have a muff. It’s so feminine and fancy But I have to ask did little piggy Tinkerbelle die. I loved seeing her. I love seeing all your animals. You are a good fur Mommie!!! I’m so sorry if you did lose Tinkerbelle!!!
Yaaay! I’m first! Wouldn’t miss it. I look forward to you videos! Sing along with the song at the beginning too!😊
Love it! And yes, I yelled at the screen about the lack of pockets.

Love the muff. Sorry about your pig .
Very Currier and Ives. Love the idea!
All you need is a pair of skates and you're all set for a Currier and Ives painting. Love your videos Marie. You do such beautiful sewing.
Love it! so much fun to see a fashion from years past.
Beautiful outfit! Thank you for sharing
There's a tutorial on YT on using Glad Press N Seal to cut and sew furry/minky type fabrics. Works amazingly!

The blue is so think and unbreathable I think it will trap heat in :) We shall see!
I was hoping you would make a muff 😅 now a nice big brimmed bonnet would complete the outfit! Really that’s a classy coat!
Virginia in Arkansas
Nice
So cosy and elegant. 😊 Not much call for a muff here where I live in the tropics but it looks so romantic.
Nice addition. So very pretty 😊
Marie, this whole project turned out GORGEOUS! I love it!❤ Your talent continues to amaze and inspire me! Thank you!❤
Love your videos, especially the introduction. You truly live in a beautiful place! Just wondering how make time to sew.
Something we wouldn’t usually need in Australia but I love it. Perfect accessory for your winter wonderland coat.
I’m going to make one like this for an upcoming winter bullock festival. I’m in Tasmania Australia. ⛄️

Love the muff and the video. I was thinking the band could be shorter and yes it's a great idea to put it on.
You could add press studs at either end and use it as a handbag too.
Hope to see you in a sled taking a ride in the snow. good luck!!
Lovely
Looks good
