JT, What a great attitude. We're all in this together in this thing called life. I think the others digging will help you unearth some more great records. Boomtown Rats best of! Free...wow. Love the Motels. I'm also enjoying music I didn't care for years ago. Pop being one genre, country being another. Thanks for sharing!

Hey there, Ralph.. I agree with Country, when it's good, its... Great ! Country Rock has always been a genre that I love and grew up with here in the western U.S. I really like this bundle of records from Bill's, and have even more from 2 previous trips over there. We are good friends now and fair to each other ! Both the Free record and debut Motels sound terrific.. What a perfect hobby ! Haha 😊 Thanks, always..We are in this together !

I dropped this video right before our journey over here, Mike.. I made one last trip over to the garage, and the other guys didn't show up, which I don't mind now, at all. They are good hard core collectors and fair ! They can't believe I had this to myself for over a year. I think the biggest bundle I had over there in one trip was 45 records.. So, 20 or so is plenty each time, and I still have room for more ! Haha. Cheers from Bang Saray Thailand 🇨🇷

I always enjoy your videos, and I can't wait for some Thailand footage. I hope to visit there someday. I was just joking about having to fight it out for Bills records. I also made a mistake. I have a 78rpm of Cherry Red by Eddie "Cleanhead" Vinson. The 78rpm by blues boy King was called Boogie Rock on RPM records

Ahhh OK..I didn't look it up yet, so you didn't confuse me ! Haha. I didn't take that the wrong way at all about the situation at Bill's ! Things change, and all is good. I'm turning 67 here in a couple of hours.. Back home, it's still 8 am
( 13 hours difference ) I think you would love Thailand, and Japan is absolutely amazing. It helps to have someone to show you around Tokyo. though.. I am filming a lot, so I hope to put together some good footage. Thanks, Harry

      Well, Happy birthday to ya.
I am 5 years older and still collecting, more picky now . My wife is much younger than me. I met her when I was 51. I guess I forgot I would get old😂.
Did you take any US albums with you to trade?

Hi JT. There are a lot of records with roughed-up sleeves. Assuming the condition is OK, I would have picked up Amon Duul, Popol Vuh, Paul Simon (what is that at 11:52?), Stiff Live Stiffs, Concerts For The People Of Kampuchea (includes one side of Paul McCartney I think) and Atlantic Rhythm And Blues.

I had Bill hold Stiff Live Stiffs, The Popol Vuh is amazing. and I had no idea what Amon Duul was and hope the vinyl is in good shape and that it is still there when I get back. ( In Thailand ) I have a good copy of Kampuchea for years, I should pull it and give it a spin soon ! Cheers, Carl 🇨🇷

There are and always were a lot of rough records, and then .. the good ones appear ! I have faith that there will be another good stack for me when we return to the U.S. in April. I met up with Roy Goad.. a Londoner that lives full-time here in Pattaya yesterday. He watches some of us on UA-cam. I enjoy my playlists now, Carl.. Pretty much got the idea from you ! 🎵

@@jtsrecordroom3963 It happens quite often when I look through trashed records that I'll stumble upon a clean record I want ... On my 'music documentaries' playlist there's a video on German experimental rock made for the BBC. Amon Duul and Popol Vuh are included ... Enjoy the rest of your family holiday. Best wishes from the UK.

When you were flipping through the boxes at Bill's you passed up an LP by Amon Duul 2 called Viva La Trance, I was yelling at the TV "Grab it! Grab it!" LOL But you still got a pretty good haul, that comp looked cool, with all the goodies. I have an album by Love Sculpture titled Blues Helping on Rare Earth and it has the same die cut cover as the Rustix album. So does the Pretty Things SF Sorrow. Nice Hendrix soundtrack, I've got that one and it's excellent. Spooky Tooth is great, I've been getting into them alot in the past year. Busted your Jaw isn't my favorite, but I think it still has it's moments. I still need to get that 2nd Free album, do you have their first, Tons of Sobs? I just showed that Ian Dury in my last video, great album! Boomtown Rats and Bow Wow Wow, 2 great 80s bands, saw the Rats when I Don't Like Mondays was a hit. Nice haul as usual Jt, wish I had a friend like Bill!😀

Hey Michael.. Thanks for looking in. Everyone has told me about that Amon Duul.. I listened, and it is absolutely amazing ! I picked up the Popol Vuh right next to it, an even more rare record.. I hope Amon Duul is still there when I get back as I will need to check the condish. I appreciate the input because I knew nothing about Amon Duul until you and others told me. That was the record that broke up the commune in Germany, evidently from my reading on the record and band ! Cheers from Thailand 🇨🇷
