Well done, Jason! A truly magnificent find, and for only 2,300 USD! A Bargain, or what!!. In wonderful condition...leave it alone, and keep it that way, don't chop it. ...and Cheetah Girl loves it too...what more could you want!...LOL...!...A perfect example! With its vertical, parallel, push-rod tubes, I would call it an; "Iron-Head Sportster"! (The 1985 - 1998 EVOs were called; "Block-Heads", followed by, "Twin Cams" and "M-8s"). I am seriously impressed! A; "Kickstarter" would have been useful, in times of; "Flat batteries"!...LOL...! Well done all..keep safe everyone...the weather is looking good for some rides! ...Paul, from England!....😀...😀...!
Shorter shocks, talll sissy bar, chopper seat, bars, raise front of the tank, long high-Low free flow slash cut drag pipes,8” over front and a kick start…chopper shizzle ma nizzle….Jay always jamming the deals!…Is it a keeper though?
Say what ya want about different Harley motors/sportsters, these are going to really go up in price in the coming years. This thing is so clean, keeping it original and just riding it is all you need to do with this bike.
Clean edits and intro, good stuff... Should do one on ALL the bikes J has had altogether... So many.. Once again you gotta risk it for the biscuit.. #Unaffiliated*
Still regret punting my '79 rigid but I needed the cash! And for the record I think our generation has a cone shovel fixation because they're what our Uncle's & Father's where riding all through the 70's & 80's. Just my opinion!
😃Seein your guys updating & shit is the coolest...🤔it seems like cool stuff drops outta the sky where you guys live...🤨you's make me wanna start a swap meet type thing in NZ....😏love your guys content 💓
Yo Unaffiliated, I thought 74 was the last year for the right side shift. I am confused 🤔 right side shift was a battle with the Brits and also a shout out to flat track racing at the time. Jason should have kept this rig but I know he's into flipping them. You Meet the Nicest People on a Honda Valkyrie. Keep the Shiny Side Up
These are investments people. These are all the old cars back from the day. Buy them cheap now. They'll double or triple or quadruple before you can retire. This might be part of your retirement
That new overpriced leftover parts from the previous year icon bike they're calling the Highway king? It'd look really good in that turquoise and cream.
Anything called a head requires more out of you than a motorcyclist. You become a biker when the bike is a head. Ironhead, knuckle head, panhead, shovel head. They dont call the new ones evo heads or dyna heads or cvo heads. Dont differentiate the head engines other than the price point. Next 10 years even the A.M.F. gonna fetch money. They're already rising in price. The 100 thousand dollar motorcyle has been dead for almost 10 years now. The rich will be coming for these bikes in another 5 years. Or so.
Why are you shouting shovel head at the beginning?…..it’s an Ironhead sportster……a shovel head is a big twin……and it’s definitely earlier than 1976……do you know anything about Harleys?……
Oh and to add about the year, turns out it was earlier than a 1976 (right side shift) but the title and paperwork stated otherwise. No idea how it happened but the numbers match!
I've watched all of the bikes Jasons bought so far on unaffiliated....love them all

Talk to the guy in San Diego Tatro machine , mate he's the go to guy for Ironheads but Ill tell ya now the seat is off an Evo sportster

It was a joke since the Ironhead is the least sought after of the pre-Evo’s and everyone is after the Shovels
