I've seen lots of different channels covering this kind of stuff, but this style and the way it's presented is great. Covers everything important, but is simple and has a good pace to it. The visuals are really well done too. Thanks for making your videos!
Although I can access my PC data into my mobile, but I'm still unable to play a video using mx player. The reason why I wanted to connect ftp server is just to watch movie even its in the Laptop's storage instead of my mobile which has only 32GB.@@Certbros
Glad to see you guys back up and posting! Your videos are very informative and I appreciate the simple explanations. 😊 If possible can you guys do Cloud ☁️ methods Iaas Paas SaaS if possible?!? Thank you

4:32 If I am controlling outbound traffic from the client on the FW, how should I allow the passive data transfer method? It seems like it is a random high port selection.
The problem with FTPS, is that it's impossible to do NAT traversal with it in a secure way. With FTP, the client sends PORT xxxx - a random high port when initiating a data transfer. The firewall picks this up and allows a reverse connection. With FTPS, this is sent encrypted, so it's no way for the firewall to read it. So please don't use FTP or FTPS - it's archaic and by today's standards, not good at all.

Why don't we use the content-disposition http header to download files instead of ftp?
Your content is awesome🔥🔥🫶😍
Great explanation 👍
For example a banking file can be converted into a song or an image
good job, thanks
wow an amazing course plz complete the full networking course
Working on it! 👍

Why random Port Number? Why won't it use the common 21 Port Number as usual?
I believe this is because a unique port is needed to identify the request when using a passive connection that is initiated fro the client.
So why would one need FTP or FTPS when you have file-monster?😮
Thanks so much for intruction and idea. What about flash bio is it good or not? And does Android had something like DOS
Use MIDI or PNG as ensrypt easy to recover under in app
Thanks
good content
Can we use port triggering instead of passive data connection?

"Tells our Browser to use the FTP protocol and uses by default port 21*"
What's wrong with the sentence I don't get it?
"...TFTP uses port 69" - nicceee...
Keeps both sides happy!
Compress file. Stream encrypt it. Send it over TFTP. Done. Or just write the UDP transfer in Python yourself. IDK.
