This guy is one of the best people on UA-cam, period. Everything he does he does because he genuinely loves learning, letting others learn with him, and helping those in need. Unlike so many who do these kinds of things, there is no hint of ego about him you will ever detect. It is people like this that change the world. If you see this Destin, keep up the good work!
Not to forget: He helps, through his belief in a God, in combination with his interest and involvement in the development of weapons of war, many people in need to not have to endure that misery for much longer. It is people like this that change the world!
Exactly! The excitement and passion for what he's doing is right there on his face. That excitement is infectious, bringing all of us along on the journey. Thanks Destin.

Ahhhhh!!!! You’re so freaking awesome, Destin! I love, love, love your content because it is so pure and honest and wholesome! This really speaks to me. I did an Eagle Scout project collecting shoes for an orphanage in Reque, Peru and later, my cousin did a similar project for kids at a school in Santa Cruz, Bolivia and I got to go down with him to meet the kids and help with other projects there. I absolutely love how you guys came to the conclusion to integrate the family unit model into your orphanage! There is definitely a sacred power in defending the family. I've been watching Smarter Every Day for a while now, but this is the first time I've seen a video on Not Forgotten. This brought a tear to my eye Destin - my wife and I have had the privilege of raising our 3 bio kids, and also for the past 11 years our four foster kids, 3 brothers and a sister from the same family. It has been hard work, heartbreaking at times, but we have been so happy to see the results, and we feel so fortunate to have been able to be along for the journey. Our foster daughter was way behind with her language and maths when they first came to us. Two years ago, she graduated with a Bachelor of Education, and was dux of her graduating class. She is now teaching at a school in a low socio-economic area, and completing her Masters at the same time. Her youngest brother, in spite of being on the ASD spectrum, is now half way through his degree in environmental science and holds a really good gpa. He is passionate about the environment and we know will contribute to his area of expertise once he graduates. I honour your efforts to contribute to Not Forgotten, and I hope and pray that the ministry will continue to grow and be able to reach more kids who need a home in Peru. God bless brother!

As long as you have vetted the project...I can respect that because FRAUD is absolutely rampant. I support Compassion International. They have a long standing good reputation in many countries. There is a real need globally. And I feel truly thankful for discovering your channel.
You shouldn't support any charity that has ulterior motives. Their interests will never be aligned with doing the most good.
