- We traveled to the far east in the Gulf of Thailand and explored the islands of Ko Chang, Ko Mak, and Ko Kut in the Trat Province. Even though they are located only 5 hours from Bangkok, these islands see less tourism than most other well-known places in Thailand.

As always, I am very impressed with your videography and places visited by you, guys!
Happy to hear that!
Nice video! Were you visiting those islands in July or earlier in the year?
Thank you! We were there in May of 2022
Very amazing video!!!!
Thank you very much for your very kind words!
Great video!
Thanks bro!
Hi Leo i just subscribed. You need to always mention hotel restaurant cost with google location aside from this absence you made a great video:)
Hey Eddie, thank you kindly for the support! You're absolutely right about adding the cost for hotel, restaurants, etc. I realized I forgot to talk about some of the properties on the islands as well as the price points for dining out. We usually do extensive research on every place and love to pass on the knowledge to others :) I'll factor more info for the next upcoming video. Thanks again!
Hi Guys, was there anywhere to party on Koh Kut?
There's not a central party area on the island that I know of but there are plenty of little bars and restaurants near Khlong Chao to have a good time 👍
Thank you for this amazing video!! 😍 Is it easy to find good places to eat on koh kood please?
Also, I’m going there next week for 9 days. I think I’ll only be able to do 2 out of these 3 islands with such a small time, which one do you recommend and how long should I stay in each please ?
Thank so much , would help a lot :)
It's not too hard, but restaurants are more spread out (mainly on the western half) Good spots we went are Sea Dog, Black Bananas, and Little Bird. For 9 days, I'd say Koh Kood and Koh Chang are a fair bet because they're the most developed. 4 days on each should be plenty
@@leodoeslife_ thank you so much for your answer! I’ll do that then. Can’t wait! xx
@@lakaichouwamaidsama you got it 🤙
How much was your entire trip around all 3 islands? In US dollars? You spent a month there, right? Thank you for the pleasure to watch it! I will plan my trip there for sure!!!!
Sure thing - I think between the two of us, with transport, lodging, motorbike, food, and activities, the cost for the entire month hovered around $900 - 975. Agoda has good deals if booked at least a week or two ahead of time and since it was shoulder season when we stayed, prices of accomodation were reasonable. Take full advantage of any places that offer free breakfast, especially if it's a buffet 😝
What is the name of that old tree? Could not catch it by ear.
Makayuk banyan tree (MH5C+XRR, Ko Kut, Ko Kut District, Trat 23000, Thailand)
