because Gio, the people that own the world want it to be the 90's again. Where women can be manipulated into sleeping with them. Where you have no creative liberties over your work. Where you don't own your work whatsoever. For example the whole copyright process only exists in its current form because all those companies work together to make it so. Competition doesn't exist, and they want to keep it that way.
