When you were sorting out the coffees it sounded as though you were both getting upset and I just want to give you both a huge hug and let you know that the stress of moving is enormous and everything would be great again soon. Emotions end up riding right on the surface. And of course on top of that you both have the stress of job hunting. Hugs to both of you and I hope you settle into the new place quickly and hear about jobs even quicker.
You are honestly the most amazing woman and teacher.

Before I was a teacher, I worked at a furniture store. I totally get that some people are so annoying but i also know where it's coming from. When you walk in the store, you are called someone's 'up". You do not get another "up" until you are finished with the first one unless the store is very busy---which they never are unless it's the weekend. I would work during the week with just one other design consultant. It could be HOURS that we were waiting to be "up" and some people get too excited to finally have someone to talk to or help. Also, they work on commission completely. Try to have patience with them and if they are being too aggressive, feel free to tell them to give you some space. Also, don't leave your phone number or email with them because they are required to notify you of upcoming sales and will hang on to your info for months.

He same thing happened to my sister when she ordered a 24 ft. they only had a 16 ft. they had very good customer serves though and threw in a free dolly and the furniture covers

we got our couch from ikea. love it! we got most of our furniture from thrift stores, or just by voicing what we needed to family and friends. it's amazing what people have in their garage

Had to wait until internet was connected so I could watch your vlog so it's a wonderful way to unwind after the stress of moving day. Now to unpack! Congrats on your new place! You deserve it!
I really like mor furniture I bought couches there from when we were moving and bought a house last year and every month since then we get free monthly gifts and they're pretty great gifts like grill sets wine sets etc it's definitely worth it and the sales people aren't bad

I used Budget for my first move too...did the same thing! I had to make 2 trips for all my stuff. Luckily it was just a hour and a half hours away but wasn't fun. Hope you get settled soon! The place looks awesome! Having more space is so worth it!

If you are going to put in organization systems, I recommend that you put them in as your unpacking. It saves you a lot of hassle taking everything out and putting it back in again. Learned the hard way.

Last Saturday (July 1st) my car totally died on the Baltimore-Washington Parkway. I had to get towed all the way back to Philadelphia. 😫I spent July 3rd buying a new car.

I sold a house, bought a condo, moved, and started teaching in a new grade at a new school and district in August of 2015... and it was the most stressful month of my life! Totally do no envy all that moving stress! =) Can't wait to see the tour!

I felt every bit of that move! We moved in March, right in the middle of a school term and the packing was the worst part! It seems so much quicker (and totally more fun!) when you're unpacking. Your new place looks great and much bigger, enjoy arranging and organising. Best wishes, Damelza ☺️

In the future, also check out Joss and Main. They are Wayfair's sister store and sometimes they have the exact same products under a different name but cheaper than wayfair. Also, big lots has great deals on mattresses next time you need one. Lastly, don't worry about the cats. It usually takes at least 2 weeks for animals to settle in after a move.
Check out overstock for your mattress. I was able to get a queen memory foam for less than $400 and it was delivered to my door in a box. It was amazing. And great quality.

Moving is so stressful! I moved to a town four hours away. My moving company miscalculated the truck size needed and ran out of room, so they had to drive TWO trucks instead of one. My pets (two dogs and a cat) weren't really happy with the change of scenery at first, but they adjusted pretty quickly. Your kitties will be okay.

Admittedly, I am commenting while watching so you may have figured out your furniture dilemma, but Target (a love we share! :D ) has awesome furniture! I have had my Felton tufted armchair for several years and it has survived a dog who likes to dig, several spills, 3 moves, etc. and it still looks and feels great! I was worried ordering it online, but it was super easy to put together and for maybe $30 more, they actually brought it into my apartment.

As soon as you told the story about the truck rental, I knew it was Budget! I had the same experience six years ago - reserved a truck but when I got there the day of the move, they had none! Ended up going to Uhaul and paying a lot more than Budget would have charged. Gotta love Budget truck rental! 😖

a great way to buy a mattress is to get a floor model. once they have the new inventory they will sell the showroom mattress for usually half price. only downside is no warranty but if you already know what you're looking for then it's a great deal.

Look at the purple mattresses. Everyone raves about them online (plus they're super cheap). They get delivered right to your door and you just roll it out on your frame.
They have a chemical powder in the that can causes respiratory problems and other stuff, the powder is what keeps the little purple squares from sticking to one another. Plus they already have a mattress.
I'm so glad you are finally done with moving! Packing an entire apartment must be incredibly stressful. I thought moving in and out of dorms were bad. I have been living in a dorm for five years and have three more to go starting in August (I lived in a dorm all throughout highschool) Can't wait to see new videos in your townhouse! Congrats!

My landlord is selling our house, and we haven't started packing because no one has made offers. Watching you pack all of this is making me so anxious for moving, but so, so excited at the same time. I love moving and getting a fresh start to being organized and decorated

It was nice to see you get moved with no major problems. The one thing I have to say is, how nice is it to be that close to Ikea. I love Ikea but unfortunately only get to go very occasionally. I would spend so much money if I lived that close to one.

i got my mattress from matress firm and it was around 900$ for a king and i financed it with 0 interest since i paid it in less than a year and its great for the price..pillow top and everything.
