I was there around 3 years ago and I thought it was quite a nice seaside town until I got there.
Surprised that the early 80’s beach front buildings are still there.
What was a pleasant street towards the estuary was Mars by empty poorly maintained buildings.
The area around and between the rail station platforms appeared to be a litter magnet.
The only place to eat in the early evening other than a pub was the chip shop.
It seems to need quite a bit of cash spending on the place
