Thanks a lot to all of you for those very cool comments guys, I'm very glad you like the song :) (and very surprised that no troll has yet hit the unlike button haha :) )
You are now in my circle of interesting composer/guitarists. : ) That circle includes Allan Holdsworth, Shawn Lane, Django Reinhardt, Jason Becker, Marty Friedman, John Petrucci ... : ) Great work! : )
The more I listen to this amazing song the better it gets, so much feeling and emotions, great job guys, listen to this on a good pair of headphones its AMAZING !
Stephan, you are certainly one of the most underrated guitarists of our time. I really appreciate your melodic sense, your polish, your sense of phrasing, etc. You're a technician and a musician easily in the realm of people like Guthrie Govan, Andy Timmons, Ron Thal, Paul Gilbert, John Petrucci, etc. If i might be so bold, I might humbly suggest that you may want to land a "side" gig playing as a lead guitarist for a big act like Ozzy or Deep Purple or something (for a year or two), just for the exposure. I imagine you would walk through the audition without really trying, and people in the west need far more exposure to your work with Adagio. Franck, Eric, Kelly and Kevin are also amazing musicians in their own right, and Adagio is one of the most interesting and engaging musical acts I've heard in a long time. I don't mean to tell you what to do at all. Just a well-wishing (and possibly lousy) idea from a committed fan.
Wow, I'm sorry I jus see this incredible message just now...Thank you so much for sucjh kind and comforting words, means a lot. I don't even know if you'll ever read this message, but thanks from the bottom of my heart
@@stephanforte I saw that you replied and I dropped my phone! Hahahaha! Well, you're very welcome. I mean every word still, 9 years later. May your work and art and family all be blessed!
So beautiful and so glad to see you with Marty! Just heard your music for the first time today and you remind me of him. I mean that in a completely good way. I love your music! Thanks for writing it!
Thank you for brightening my day with this nice song! I was listening to radiometal and your song came along and immediately I knew I had to look it up online!
Stephan! It took you 10 years to like my comment? I know, you have been traversing the catacombs conjuring up some dark, symphonic, epics. Keep doing what you do because it’s always inspiring.
Wow I don't know how I had never heard of you. Amazing work! I love your infusion of neoclassical and dark melody. I truly hope you are the new guitarist for Megadeth. You'd be the best addition since marty friedman!
Well, the first solo album shredded the fuck out of everything besides Jeff Loomis's Zero Order Phase (I love both incidentally) and this looks set to do the same. Looking forward to hearing the whole album. \m/
You know you just can't avoid yourself, right? This is like an alternative version of Adagio. Which is awesome! I'm not throwing rocks! On the contrary! I just can't wait for more releases from Adagio. Until then I think I'll hear your solo on the repeat. So sadly beautiful. :)
Great style, great skills woaw it's clearly awesome =) Do you know Michiru Yamane or Rika Muranaka? They are really great Soundtracks composer, I think they could inspire you. They'are working on track with very dark and oppressive atmosphere. Congrats for your work.
Why the fuck have you not done a collaboration with Jeff Loomis stephan? Please do. I can foresee a mouth-watering convergence of dark melodic shred neo-classicism should you choose to pursue my proposition.
Yep, totally agree mate. Love listening to them both, but I prefer Loomis. Romeo probably writes in a more neo classical way, but Jeff's the man. Both very talented, and both very minor orientated. My personal favourite was jason becker. Such passion and talent taken so unfairly so young. Sigh.
Gotta admit, this album's cover is your best cover so far. However, I'm kinda worried about Adagio. We didn't get to hear any news for a while. Have you guys split up?
only 40k viewers? it's joke? This is the best song on the world...
Thanks a lot to all of you for those very cool comments guys, I'm very glad you like the song :) (and very surprised that no troll has yet hit the unlike button haha :) )
Just post the shit on some Justin Bieber forum. :)
Troll detected. O_o

You are the dark side of shredding. I will now try and follow your steps, master.
6:00 is fucking extasy!!
Damn, Marty still has the chops. Never disappointing, like greats should. Your playing rocks, Stephan!
The whole song is fucking great, but the part of the piano on 4:00 adds a really nice touch to the song

Well Jeff did play a solo on my first album :)
Stéphan Forté - The Shadows Compendium
Ah my bad. I'm a huge fan of both you and Jeff. Are you planning any tours in Scotland any time soon? Would love to hear you live :)
I prefer Loomis to Romeo, although he is amazing. Never heard of kuprij.

Terrible ! :)
Marty left Megadeth because it was "heavy grey metal. I want also orange, and blue and yellow.." and so on. What the hell happened to you Marty?
Awesome!
