Hi there Cackling Chick, I hope you have repaired your EEEEE! LOL. That is indeed a Honker at 9:05, wow! Also the pokey hole one at 13:48 is sweet too! Thank you for letting us tag along on your hunt.
🤣 My EEEEE seems to come and go sometimes. Maybe the desert air dried it up this time. Yes, I was very pleased with my rock treasures and loved seeing different colors! Thank you for coming along as I make these videos for fellow rockhounds!! ROCK ON!! 😃👍🏻🪨⛏️
I love your excitement when you find something cool. The jasper's are very cool, I would really like to see 13:04 cut open very interested to see what it looks like inside. Thanks for taking us along 👋 😁
Thank you! It's so easy to get excited with ROCKS, as you know! I'll have to cut that one you suggested. I think my slab saw is big enough! ROCK ON!! 😁👍🏻🪨⛏️
Howdy, Travi! Aren't rocks fascinating? Welcome to the rockhound club! So nice to meet you. Let me know if you have any questions. I'm not an expert, but I love sharing what I know and researching to learn with you. ROCK ON!! 😁👍🏻🪨⛏️
@CacklingChick It definitely is fascinating. I've got a table full of rocks and these are pretty much the first I've gotten. I have tons of questions tbh. I am having a difficult time identifying a few.
Yes, the questions are endless, including my own! Check out www.mindat.org/, but it's overwhelming at first glance. Also, find Facebook rock identification groups for the area where you find rocks. There may be several ID suggestions for a particular rock in that group, but that will help you learn as you go. I hope that helps a bit. ROCK ON!! 😁👍🏻🪨⛏️
