When your facing decks you have to remember toon deck isn't really a meta deck so chances of beating a meta deck is half if that. Toons are not hard to get rid of compared to other decks out there
Going second decks that want to otk shouldnt play evenly in main unless they can set up a board during the battle phase, I think I would trade the evenly for something that would be good to breaks boards and enable to otk, super poly, and impermanence are always good regardless of going first or second and if you dont mind to keep it pure toons I would suggest kashtira fenrir for the same reason, good going first and second and helps you otk.
Under normal circumstances I would agree. Keep in mind that most of the toon monsters are unable to attack the turn they are summoned, therefore losing the first battle phase isn't an issue :)
@@Retro_YGO nowadays the idea of waiting for a second battle phase to otk is not viable but I dont think toons are incapable of otk on the first turn consistently with some tweaking to the deck. You could try more swarming engines to spam links like borrelsword or accesscode to push for game alongside stealing monsters with comic hand and bls. You could try some generic rank 4 engines as well some more level 4 toons to go into utopia double and otk that way. so maybe you could try some of the other level 4 toons or toon extenders
You could also try some level 8 spam engines to use for rank 8s and have some extra use for bls after the battle phase potentially to go into gustav max and burning them for 2k.
Oh my bad, gustav max is level 10, for rank 8 you could use something like infection buzzking for burn damage and titanic galaxy as an interruption going first. Or you could play trains to go into gustav max for burn and in the next set theres gonna be a rank 10 omni negate you could use for going first
Hahaha lol I can't wait for it to not be dog shit anymore I love the toons but they just ain't super powerful anymore but I still enjoyed this deck profile it's certainly a noice twist to it
Imagine if they did the God cards as toons?
Toons need extra deck cards (synchro,xyz,link,fusion) that allow negates and other abilities like other decks.

I Run anima in this style build as well because 1. Pegasus so duh. Lol and 2. Use it with lava golem as another easy 3k beater stealer

Use DPE as toon kingdom protects your pop to destroy their card.
So lava Golim becomes toon and can attack directly? Did i hear that right? I thought that only applied for physical toon cards?.
