Edison does have Synchro summoning, but this particular deck does not use them. This is considered the golden age of Synchros and takes place in April 2010 during Yu-Gi-Oh! 5 D's. But yes, there are no XYZ or Link summoning mechanics yet during this format. XYZ's make their introduction in the following year and you can play them in the September 2011 format "Tengu Plant" format. If you want to deeply emerge yourself into XYZ's, then you can play in 2014's HAT format.

Yeah, it's for sure jank/rogue for the format. But if they don't have back row removal and you've established a dream clown/stumbling it can be a rough day for the opponent

I love chain burn 🔥

It's definitely a "for fun" deck. With that being said, although it's just for fun, burn can catch people off guard, especially one like this if they aren't prepared for all the back row. I do however think if I was gonna take a burn deck, it would be panda burn. I've got a profile for that deck on the channel also.

Awesome, glad you're considering building them. Yessir, I've been playing the deck for 15 years, not saying it's meta, but it's playable against another slower rogue strategy for fun.

Yessir, i can throw together a list. Just having the rykos gives a little synergy between rescue cat and dumping them to the gy, but I can definitely go heavier on the LS count. Can you imagine Judgement Dragon and Rainbow Dragon on the same board?

I’ve tried to combo with crystal blessing but it requires too much setup. Playing Dragon Queen or field spell turbo is just better than mill and pray.

This is agents for Goat Format. A format of yugioh that took place in 2005 when the card pool was very limited. This is indeed an Agent deck for the format my dude :) I'm glad you're having fun with agents though. Historically the deck doesn't really pick up pace until 2011's Tengu plant format after the introduction of the agents structure deck.

@Retro_YGO I hate to break it to you but I did check up on other goat format version of the deck and others have done some interesting things with it using other agents as well... so unless they are mistaken about what is goat era, I believe you may want to either revisit the Agent deck or not... but one Agent doesn't make it an Agent deck... I don't know what qualify as 'goat' cards since I'm not interested in it but others who are, have used other Agents so I'm wondering who is wrong... it's weird if only one Agent qualify

Crazy too considering the card pool difference between 2005 and 2024. I just checked and 1,818 cards existed during goat, and in 2024 13,240 cards exist. Safe to say there is no excuse for decks to be so similar in 2024. At least back in Goat days there is a reason to use many of the same cards.

Any burn cards, draw cards, or stall cards. I'd stay away from upstart goblin just because of the gain LP effect

brionac/Iron Chain and Blk Rose can be the last two slots, you can revive the tuner them with Red-eyes and then sync for the lv 6 after having a level 5. then the same strat next turn to go to level 7. heck you can cut an 2 wurms for 2 level 8s as well. aslo adding kaibaman could add flexibility to the level totals as a whole since its level 3.

I really appreciate all the feedback. I've gotten so much great advice in this first installment of this deck, I'll be sure to include yalls ideas in the future lists

Lol, he's in my Goat format variant of the deck. He's normal summon blue eyes, but you have to draw them together, and even if you do, it goes neg 1. Because of that, I like playing him if I'm opting to play shining angel as well. That wasn't the direction I wanted to take this deck, but I can definitely make it happen with future lists 💪
