George is just a big ole kid. I love it. These little Jeeps did far better than I would have thought. They look like they're a blast, but that could be the company you keep.
I mean these guys are just copying a c90adventures who drove one of these 1000 miles all the way to Moab through the desert and up snowy mountains including converting it to be amphibious and crossing a lake. At the end of the day these things are just off road go karts with suspension running Honda shifter engine clones, they can do a lot.
If you guys Google centrifugal clutches, you’ll find that you can usually change the springs in the fly weights on almost all centrifugal clutches. However, I would put a hand clutch on it something that you can lock up manually or unlock manually with a cable or a lever, considering the terrain you plan to do.
I would totally watch a whole series on tricking these things out and doing things that they were never intended to do. The more ridiculous the better!
Awesome guys, just an absolute delight to view what you have been up to with your projects. There is more interest here per minute than some other channels with super huge subscriptions. Don't lose the enjoyment ........... cheers

And now I've gone down the rabbithole of wheeling around Utah and watrching you, Robby, Matt, fab rats, and Heavy D, and all these cool UA-camrs right around here.
Well done guys those are some nice mini jeeps I guarantee the Moab trip will be a lot of fun and I can see everyone getting involved in the shenanigans which will make a fun video
We saw you guys out there having fun but we were on a mission! We do a 130+ mile ride every year from Montana to Idaho on cheap Coleman mini bikes and it's some of the most fun and laughs we have all year!
I have one and it's AWESOME! Small issues aside, its so fun. I highly recommend adding a fuel pump and a fuel pressure regulator as it gives it a noticeable power difference!
11:36 There's a lot you can do with a centrifugal clutch. Changing the belt is one. There's ways of changing things up with the belt, but you would have to experiment. Wider belt same length, shorter but narrower belt. Longer but wider belt. You get the picture. Changing the springs to heavier (meaning hard to compress) or lighter ones (meaning easier to compress) another. I'm guessing the clutch is driven by a chain from the engine, if so, you can change those sprockets. I'd say this is your best bet to increase the clutch RPM.
I have the Jeep from Coolster. I picked it because I think it is a better design. The frame around the windshield and the back of the seat are frame mounted tube, creating a semi-roll cage.
Swap out the clutch for a Torque Converter!!!! So much better than Centrifugal clutch. Cheap solution with tons of added torque. Game changer on my minibike.
Yall seemed to only use 1st and 2nd gear the entire time even on the higher speed smoother parts. So a much lower gear would help A LOT! You can also adjust the weights and springs in the clutch to basically make it a higher stall so it will rev up more before the clutch engages.
I usually clip a few links off the clutch spring so they grab at higher rpms, and sometimes I cut grooves so it grabs better BUT it wears the shell out faster than normal.
Depending on the clutch you have I’d imagine that you can change weights and springs to get the engine rpm in a better range for what you’re doing. The question is, whether or not you can get the weights and springs for those clutches.
I think you guys should do a colab or interview with edd from c90adventures, he drove one acros the desert all the way to moab😂😂 insane lad but funny as hell
@@desertrat1357 definitely,I see more and more people doing the mini jeep thing but I don't think I've heard anyone mention edd... He deserves more attention tbh
@C90Adventures took one of these mini jeeps from Salt Lake 1000 miles in snow and sand to MOAB. had some issues, but the little thing made it! check out the episodes, they're great fun
Motors on those little guys sounds pretty good honestly. Front suspension needs to be tighter and you'll have more traction way too bouncy and causing you to lose ground contact with the tires.
If those were 150 cc GY6 motors I would suggest 9 gram rollers with a yellow 1500 lb main spring in you cvt transmission. You will lose speed, but your climbing ability will be much better!
LOVE YOU GUYS! 😂😂😂 I wish George was my neighbor. He makes me laugh out loud with his comments and antics. Much to to Trevor and Tucker too. So happy you started this channel❤
definitely pushing these things further than what they're meant for, that said they seem to be doing well but just need more power since they'll get stuck and not even spin the wheels in first so only thing to make them really good is fatter tires in the rear and more torque
I would suggest changing the gearing, because of the bigger tyres and extra weight they 100% need to be geared down and they probably need oil coolers with a low pressure electric oil pump and thermo fan to keep them from cooking. Awesome job though guys they look great.
Oh boy this video is hilarious. Seeing you all on those tiny jeeps makes me laugh so much. And seen you going up that trail in this timy jeeps while the big jeep owners look at what the heck you are doing is so funny LOL
The thing is, those things could be nearly as capable as full size jeeps with the right modifications. Gearing/engine, tires or suspension? I don't know. Be fun to try though.
I wonder if changing the gearing would help get you a little more rpm when crawling and put you in the power band because it seems like the problem I had with my cheap Chinese quad it was just geared way too tall so it has very little take off because the clutch engages at a low rpm
Love the idea some small little toys that any one can easily modify and offroading but think you guys should buy a couple geo trackers and build them do a series on cheap builds
U should rip them motors out and put a sport quad motor in it so u have a clutch and gears so u can have a lower gear for climbing and a higher gear for smooth trails also lengthen them ul and wide. The suspension so there not so tipsy
First thing always let flat down in same levels and it would not get bogged also need more torque will never get bogged it won't dissapont ya if you guys decided to do any lift kitted suspension and roll cage part from that it be way better with them getting rolled over alsepends on different builders no matter as long God keep y'all safe with best toys for big boys in any states and stay safe to y'all blessed to hear from ya soon
You need to do the lifan 150cc motor upgrade or the do make a upgraded centrifugal clutch that bites better they were selling them for the Coleman mini bikes.
Them jeeps are cool as hell i want one.😂. Maybe buy a Chinese 125 four-wheeler engine and wire harness and you will not have the problem with the clutch slipping. Thats what i would do forna cheep fix because them Chinese engine from four-wheeler have reverse
im pretty sure the problem is power, you can gear the engines bog down on the hill so it means the clutch is engaging but its probably slipping i reckon you should put a 125cc quad bike engine or maybe even a 150cc or 200cc quad engine
Moab in a mini jeep should become a yearly tradition. Ed the idiot 🤪 from C90 inspired a lot of us big kids with that epic hilarious journey. Open class, stock class and all in between.
A guy with channel name of c90adventures here on YT has managed to make one of these street legal and driven it 1000 miles off road across Utah.
Love his adventures!
I subbed after that series! That was funny as hell😂
When they bought the jeeps they mentioned his channel is what inspired them to buy the jeeps.
I don’t think it was ever street legal. It did float though. Lol
I think it was, in the second episode he goes to the DMV with paperwork and gets a Utah license plate.
