When we were in the city we saw that there was one that was under construction too ....Tirana and albania in general has great things coming... We really do like the vibe of the whole country...thanx for taking the time to comment and watching our vlogs🙂
My first Tirana visit was '99. Not only would there be bathroom scales on the street but also rotary phones extended to street for use (small fee). My assumption: Most homes had no phones/scales. Over time, phones became prevalent/cheap. Scales? Not so much. I also see "rent-a-scale" as a way of being charitable while allowing the owner to provide a service/retain dignity.
@@Stinnergy it's not that scales aren't cheap and people can't afford them 😂. Albania has changed a lot since 1999 and now people can afford a lot of things. That is all about charity with dignity as you said 👋
@Cris4tay Thanks bro. You know Tirana better than me now 🙆♂️. For sure only young Albanians like that kind of food. Old Albanians are more in to byrek 😂. Waiting for some cool vlog from you and Endrit 👋👋👋
lol there is no story, do not believe every story you hear, there were way more than 1000 cars in Albania, however none of them were private, not even Enver Hoxha, all were Government owned. His house was and is owned by government. FYI all Directors had cars provided by government. All Enterprises had cars provided by government. All heads of cooperatives, farms had cars provided by government. But it sounds good story to go the extra mile and exaggerate. By the way EH was a criminal out of the question.
There are some Burger King restaurants in Tirana. The first one opened some years ago in a shopping mall in the outskirts of the city.
