I am not from mechanical background but a quick update on TVS GTT tech.
If the Engine is big enough, it's torque helps it move even on higher gears.
So mostly, bikes bigger than 150 cc should be able to pull themselves on higher gears without giving throttle.
However! In case of TVS, I think they have made some electronic updates which definitely gives slightly more gas because there bikes have slightly more speed with there GTT tech 🤔

If u want speed plus mileage than go for xtreme 2v....bwst acceleration plus speed
9:45 xtremes gearbox makes louder sound while changing gears compared to apache.
It is not GTT in Extreme.
If the engine has enough low end torque, it can pull your bike without giving accelerator. Hence Hero Extreme pulls itself.
The only difference in TVS is, the bike adds extra gas(acceleration probably by programming) due to which it has more speed without acceleration.
If you check old TVS bikes without this GTT program, they will have same speed of 10 to 15 like Hero.
Note: I am not a bike mechanic/engineering student. This is my understanding from when I was learning about bikes on UA-cam few years back.
