SheGlam’s Chroma collection is EXACTLY what R.E.M. Beauty should have looked like. Wow!
Just found out that REM beauty plagiarized the design of a Chinese beauty brand called Colour zone.
I didn’t even believe it at first until that chinese brand post their design patent papers out on their page, their packaging also won several awards at Pentawards and German design awards. and definitely looks a lot better than REM’s 😂

Why sheglam's take on space makeup is better than Ariana Grade's? The packaging and the colours are far more interesting.
I feel like there’s been nothing impressive for awhile, I’m in love with Sheglam ! These are all so cute and fun .
Because poor people actually take interest in their businesses. They don't have stupid stans who'll buy anything they dish out. They work hard unlike Ari-chan.

Anyone else sad they missed out on buying Tati’s pallette??? I kept telling myself “next holiday/birthday” because I felt guilty about spending money on myself. Now the chance is gone forever 😭

As someone who has the palette, I recommend going to Hannah Louise Poston’s dupe the vibes video of Tati’s palette. She does a really good job of emulating it with different single shadows 😊
I managed to get the palette when it launched and i gotta say the L.A. girl palette in the underrated makeup video has a very similar color story

Yes this. I was sad to see her supporting this brand. Maybe she doesnt know and i hope she sees this comment because the unethical nature of this brand goes WAY beyond stealing and polluting. I love Tati and its hard to watch this video.
It's important content though, you can say 'save up and buy ethical' all you want, but a 4$ dollar makeup palette is a 4$ makeup palette. Lots of people can't afford to spend what 'ethical' brands charge (ethical in quotation marks because there is no ethical consumption under capitalism, all workers are exploited).
@@CoolGuy-sd5un I get what you're saying, but it's makeup, not milk yeah. Arguably you don't need a 4$ makeup palette or a 40$ makeup palette. If it's a want, not a need, if you're capable of not spending money on the 4$ obviously exploitative makeup palette, you can wait until you can buy the 40$ indi makeup palette which is objectively better in every way.

Hey Tati! I am a fan of yours and very glad you're back making videos. Wanted to let you know Shein is a company that uses multiple chains of sub-contracted labour to make all their clothes, leading to awful conditions for workers with no accountability or protection. It is a very unethical company that also produces a scary amount of plastic and material waste. I know cheap and cheerful makeup is very enticing but I don't support them as a company for those reasons. Sharing as I was shocked when I found out the extent of this.
You're right. Shein is a terrible company. I wish Tati would have done her research first, especially since she has been talking lately of clean beauty and 'potential harmful' ingredients in products. And then goes and makes a video on Sheglam. Please do better Tati

I agree with you. Shein is even banned in my country. But the thing is Tati is a makeup reviewer. She tries and tests makeup of all kinds for all kinds of people. She tried clean beauty for people who prefer that. She tried dollar tree makeup for people who prefer that. She tries luxury makeup for people who prefer that. She simply reviews makeup. She's not encouraging people to buy it directly. At the same time, I do agree she should have given this message in her intro or somewhere.

Thank you Tati. 3am here in Florida and I absolutely love your late night uploads. You are a true light in my dark times. Only a few ppl I watch bring me light and make me smile. But you give me hope. Something no one else I watch can do. Being disabled and physically not well with a lot of mental health issues and severe depression. You give me hope I can get better with time. I can only hope with therapy I’m in. I appreciate the affordable makeup bc I can’t afford much at all as it is. But when I get a chance maybe once a year. I listen to you. You know what you should try. The beach waver curdling iron. If you want quick easy curls and very affordable. Many ppl rave about it. I think you would love it. Also made to help many ppl with physical limitations Much love 💜💜
I you want legit duochrome and multichrome, you really need to check out the indie brands. Clionadh Cosmetics is KILLING IT! I'll never go back to boring eyeshadow colors after using their single shadows.

That is surprising to hear about the lead issue. When I worked at Claire’s accessories headquarters we had an issue with lead but was resolved within a couple of months. And that was back in 2006! Wouldn’t think that would still be an issue now days.
there are so many many manufacturers and suppliers that don't really follow the rules. just in the US to mention. Not just for makeup but cosmetics has very little standards compared to other products. I think there should be more than one entity that does work like the FDA, and the rules and guidelines should be more modernized; thats the only way I can see this particular system changing and made sure its ethical & good quality(as in not dangerous or health risks)
Claire's also had asbestos in their makeup in 2018 😖😖

Hi! I was in the same position as you; my mum died, my depression for really bad, I developed shocking anxiety and panic attacks, and lost my job as a result. What I want to say is this; please hang in there, keep putting one foot in front of the other. It's very hard to do, but honestly things will eventually get better. Tati, thank you for finally saying something about where Shein is made and about the bad stuff that has been found in them. Of all if the creators that have talked about this line, you are the only one to mention the obvious, and I’m guessing it’s because the majority of the other creators have sponsorships with Shein. They need to do their research and be transparent with us instead of just taking the money.

Yes! I have the cremy one in a tube (looks like EM Cosmetics) and liquid one with sponge applicator. Both are so nice and have great, flattering shades!

I bought the entire collection of the cream blushes with the sponge applicators…fantastic! Laura Lee was using them and said how good they were and damn she was right.

Just watched the video and read the article about Shein and fast fashion toxicity. I sent the article to my family members who I know buy fast fashion...yuck! I didn't like the social issues around fast fashion before, now with the toxicity...it gets an even bigger NOPE from me!
I agree that its absolutely not sustainable, but same goes for Zara, Mango, H&M and many more.. If I see literally same stuff in Zara (and its also made in PCR), I might aswell just get it from Shein way cheaper
@@anetemakeup you do know that lead poisoning is for life right? Once it's in your body, the effects cannot be cured, ever. 🤦♀️
@@anetemakeup agreed and sometimes people don’t have the mean to purchase from other stores, especially with prices going up like crazy.
But it's cheap, and when you don't have a lot of money, it's the way to go for a lot of people.

As a small artist who follows a lot of other small artists the amount they ripoff is infuriating. There was a small artist who was about to release these adorable bucket hats with bunny ears or a lemon sprout on them only to find the exact same hats for sale on Shein with tons of sales 😥

I think chrome makeup (e/s, e/l, blush, lip, h/lighter, etc.) is going to be HUGE in the cosmetics industry moving forward. Really futuristic colors and textures. When you do reviews on sets like these, is it possible that instead of doing one makeup look using some of the products, you could try on all of the different items and colors that came with it? I saw Manny use the “Insta-Ready Face and Under Eye Setting Powder Duo” from SheGlam a couple months ago. He had such good things to say, I added one to my next SHEIN order. I’ve been using it every time I wear makeup. If it weren’t for influencers testing them, I would NEVER have thought SHEIN makeup would be good. Now I want to go buy those eyeshadows!

I have tried several Sheglam items. I don’t like their shadows, but honestly they have a matte lipstick line in gold tubes that are amazing. They have luxurious heavy gold tubes with magnetic closure. So good. And they have a fabulous liquid eyeliner
