Credit where it's due, they seem to have put in the effort to make it unique enough to want to play it without liking the source material. Also, as far as wording issues goes, Frostina could have easily been solved by simply changing to "When Frostina defeats a Yokai..."
I'm getting a vibe that they got a bunch of inspiration from every card game out there. Especially MTG, Pokemon, YuGiOh and anything Bushiroad produces in that order.
Why the random Ace Attorney music in the background? Not complaining, it was actually nice hearing one of my favorite video game OSTs, but it kind of made it feel like the game was on trial. Which it was... now I get it.

@@aliesterus1.023 also Gilasaurus Old text stayed “When normal summoning this card you can treat it as a special summon” does that mean I lose my normal Someone despite the fact a special someone doesn’t count to my normal summon, if this card was level five do I still have to tribute a monster , if I normal summon once can I use this card since it states I have to normal summon it to treat it as a special summon. Talk about a nightmare

It may be half the price, but I like the pokemon elite trainer boxes cause of everything you get with it. The generations elite trainer box may cost 50.00 but the exclusive shaymin card that comes with it is worth that price alone.
The power up bonus from the flip is not the points on the bottom right. That is for the advanced game. When you flip the medal and it is on heads you double the Yokai's power. So if you have a 400 power Yokai and land on heads it is now 800. The bottom right is when you play any number of cards from your hand face down and reveal them. If they are the same tribe as the attacking Yokai so the Yokai gains power based on how many Yokai and how much power the Yokai gets per card revealed which is only in the advanced game. Zizzac covered it on his video
I had to reread the rules and look at multiple videos to figure this out. They aren't the best at explaining the card effects and how power ups go but I am hoping they release a video or document to clarify some things as I've had to reread and rewatch videos a hundred times.
You can see why I am demanding a manual of style so that the card text is more consistent then, right? Q'wit LV4 and Frostina LV5 have virtually the same ability, but they are written so differently. Heck, Frostina uses her name in her ability, while Q'wit says "This Yokai". That's an inconsistency that needs cleanup right there.
Do you know where to buy this game? Is it like buddyfight/vanguard where it's exclusively sold in game/card stores or is it like sold in big retailers like Target?
I am unconvinced. It still looks painfully like Skylanders, down to its name being "ThingVerbers" in construction. It also copies exactly the gimmick of Infinite Arms, which has dropped off the face of the Earth. I also see no signs of co-op which, if you check their UA-cam video, has a lot of parents who prefer to play co-op with their kids concerned.

Also I think your being a bit overly critical stating that is like some type of sin that they have wording errors because it's made by hasbro who yes owns wizards of the coast but does not control what they do. Hasbro owns so many different franchises they don't have time to oversee everyone

And, yes, I will always hold a large company like Hasbro, who is in charge of not only Magic The Gathering, but literally hundreds of other board and card games, to a much higher standard when it comes to clear, easily understood text.

the art on the cards seem very plain but i really like the simplicity of the card layout

RIP Yo-kai Watch TCG. I only played it a few times, but the ebb and flow of combat was satisfying and real easy to teach.

Funny enough that’s not even that bad of a card text, while it loaded with unnecessary words, you can tell it’s simply stops the tribute of monsters .
