This was so incredibly helpful. I think this was the most practical approach of what any singer songwriter, producer or any artist is expected to work like in practical world . Fast efficient and money making machines to be on the billboards top 10s or 100s. Sadly our A&R and decision makers in all the new and old music companies from india are not able to curate such artists because they are too afraid to put a young new face on their decision makers panel.
Thank you for this goldmine of information! For an Independent Musician in India, access to people with such vast experience is near impossible without being signed to a label or Talent management agency. I am really grateful to you for doing this podcast and dispersing information like this for free. It will definitely help me formulate my strategies in terms of my future releases!
Please bring some underrated or forgotten artists like Raj Barman , Gajendra Verma on podcast please, we will love to see them having conversation here on the podcast
What i got from this is the same problem in most of fields in india today which is huge population but not enough money in reality but we keep comparing that with western world with huge loads of money that too for quite a long time now, which create this sense of being cheated by others in the business. Another one is the slow adaptability and knowledge of overall scheme of things involved and being stuck in nostalgia And thats what i think is different with Punjabi music which actually came from western influence due to huge migration
Mmmh by Kai is awesome! Thank you!
